Dancing in the Kitchen (Charlie)

I was listening to old 2010's in my earbuds full blast while dancing in the kitchen. Charlie wasn't gonna be home for another hour so I had the house to myself to do whatever I wanted.

I started to make dinner, while I was getting lost in the music. I was dancing like no one was watching when all of sudden I turned around to see Charlie bursting out laughing. I was completely shocked, and embarrassed beyond belief.
"How long have you been here, watching me dance" I asked. "Ummm about 10 ish minutes" Charlie said. I was even more humiliated than I was 2 minutes ago. "I didn't know you were coming home this early, other wise I would've made this a lot sooner", I said. "Ahh, don't worry about it, you are way more entertaining than dinner", Charlie said while laughing. "Hand me your earbud", he said. "Why", I asked? "Cause I wanna know what is so worth jamming out too in the kitchen for ten minutes", he said. I took out one of my earbuds and handed it to him while Just Dance by Lady Gaga played. He looked up at me with the widest eyes and ran out of the kitchen. I gave him a odd look trying to figure out what he was doing. Less than a moment later, I heard the first few "E's" played on the Grand in the living room. Just as I suspected, there was Charlie on the piano playing Just Dance and singing at the top of his lungs obnoxiously, waiting for me to join in. I joined in and we were singing so loud, I didn't even notice the fire alarm going off. "Do you hear that",
Charlie asked while he continued to play? "What are you talking about"? I said practically yelling over the piano. "The keys sound off", he said. "Stop Playing for second", I said. He stopped playing, and that's when we heard the fire alarm going off. "Oh My GOD!!!! I forgot I was cooking dinner"!! I screamed, and ran back to the kitchen. It was a huge smokey mess and the food was burned to a crisp. I looked at Charlie with a weak smile and a laugh. "Guess we're ordering takeout", he said and laughed. "Guess so", I said, laughing hysterically.
It was quite an evening, but one that I won't forget for a while.
