I don't anything except James and his plot lines. Don't steal my stuff. All credit goes to Cassandra Clare. Enjoy!

James Wayland walked into a Downworlder bar. Isabelle Lightwood sat at the bar as the door chimed, signaling someone had entered. She glanced at the door, her eyes meeting the mismatched eyes of James. She hardly recognized him but he knew it was her immediately. She had grown into a beautiful young woman, her long raven hair cascading down her back and her dark brown eyes shining in some form of recognition. Those bright blue eyes, the tipped ears, the runes. She recognized him, James Cormac Wayland. She stood up and ran to him. His arms immediately opened as she hugged him. He rested his head on hers as she hugged him. He chuckled and lifted her into the air, spinning her around causing her to squeal and laugh. Once he put her down, she looked at him in shock, "Oh my god, James, it's so great to see you! I can't believe it! How have you been? Where have you been? I have so many questions. But thank the Angel you're ok." James chuckled at her fast-paced talking.

"Here, come on, let's catch up, I'm buying." Izzy smiled and followed James to a small booth. They sat down and ordered, James started, "So, after I came back from London, as you know I stayed in New York for a little while but then my mother wanted me to come back to Faerie. So your parents gave me back to her, but I stayed with the Seelie Queen. She had one of her Knights beat me, they convinced me I would never be accepted by the Clave. They pushed me into joining the Wild Hunt." Isabelle listened intently, she couldn't imagine how he felt, all alone with one of the most brutal Downworlder groups. She held his hand from across the table. He smiled at her, thankful for the comfort. The two talked for a while, laughing and bonding after six years away from each other. Isabelle couldn't help but notice how handsome James had become, and how nice and charming he was. Isabelle was beautiful, so beautiful that James couldn't describe it, and she was still kind and a great person. By the end of the night, the two were in the New York Institute, James was still a Shadowhunter so he could enter, and they were kissing each other desperately. James was hesitant at first, wanting to respect Isabelle as a woman, but she assured him that she wanted him as much as he wanted her, causing him to give in. Clothes were shed and the two fell onto her bed, enjoying their night together.

The next morning, Alec and Jace walked into the kitchen but froze when they saw someone standing there. It was a tall muscular brown-haired boy with one gold eye and one blue eye and pointed ears. He was shirtless, only wearing a pair of sweatpants that were slightly too short for him. He had runes scattered around mixed with many scars. His brown hair was slicked back but slightly curly. He was drinking a cup of coffee and he hadn't noticed the two yet. He turned away from them and revealed the scars all over his back. Isabelle walked in, yawning and wearing a large shirt that went to her mid-thigh. She stopped, seeing James in the kitchen and Alec and Jace looking at her with raised eyebrows. James turned around, eyes locking on Isabelle in his shirt from the night prior before he looked at Alec and Jace. He froze, James hadn't seen them in years. "Alec, Jace."

"James?" The boy smiled and nodded at his supposed half-brother and his childhood friend. The two rushed at him, engulfing him in a hug. They were happy to see their friend again. It was weird that he was now taller than both of them. The half-faerie let out a deep chuckle at his friends' behavior and made eye contact with Izzy. Alec and Jace left quickly, wanting to give the two the chance to talk. James and Izzy awkwardly stood across from each other, not knowing who would speak first. They both said, "So..." before chuckling at how in sync they were.

James said, "Where is this going? I mean we had sex, is that it? Or do you want something more?"

Isabelle thought for a moment, "I don't know, I'm not great at this whole relationship thing and I kinda have trust issues."
