CHAPTER 20 He wants me!!

We made it to the park, soon as Erin saw Kristyn she ran for her. After Kristyn picked Erin up, and spun her around she took her to the slide. Niall and I just smiled and walked to a bench. He took my hand in his, and we just sat in the quiet for a minute. Watching Erin with Kristyn was nice, she took her to some swings, and pushed her on it. I couldn't stop listening to my little girl as she giggled while she was swinging.
All a sudden my phone starts ringing, and the caller ID says Simon. I answer the phone "hey Simon! What's Up?" Niall looks at me asking why he's calling. "I want to offer you a place here at Syco!" He says excited. See here's what you don't know. I auditioned for XFactor UK season 12. I got through and made it until week 5.

[Flashback]

Hi!!! I'm Kacie, I'm from the U.S. I'm 22. I moved here to get a change in scenery, I've lived here for a few months now. Originally from California. It's been an amazing journey so far, and I love London it's so nice!

Simon seems intrigued "okay Kacie what song have you prepared for us?" I take a deep breath, and say " Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen". I sing the song and get people clapping for me simon starts "That was a nice choice of songs, and I think you may have a spot in the competition for you" he proudly says. MelB goes next "you have this sense of purity to your voice, with a little bit of rasp every now and then. It's different, and I like it" Cheryl was next "I like you, you came out not cocky but confident to where you knew what you were doing. You are sweet, and have this sense of purity to your aura. It's like a girl next door look." I thank her, and Louis is next. "You are good, I don't think you truly grasp how good you are. I like you!" He said then the voting Simon said "absolutely, you are my favorite of this season so far!" I can't wipe off my smile. Mel B says "yes! You are one that we have been waiting for " woah! No pressure there. Cheryl says "yesss! You are just what we need this season! I'm keeping my eye out for you this season" I'm stunned right now, just saying "thank you, thank you so much!!" Then Louis says "a million percent yes!! You ARE what we need!" With that I thank them one last time and leave the stage. I make it backstage and jump into my boyfriend Niall Horan's arms. Dermot O'leary and Niall are talking about the old days when he was there in the competition. Reliving the dreams, and the nervous moments.
( a little over a month later)
Dermot is on stage with us. "The person leaving us from the competition today is.........Kacie Peters. Come here Kacie, what are your thoughts? How was this journey for you?" I take a deep breath, and say "Dermot, it was the most amazing experience I've gone through. I've made some amazing friends, and got to do the one thing I love most, sing. It's been a journey I will never forget. And I guess now, I can work on my career outside of here and try harder to get a record deal. This has been unforgettable, not just for me, but my boyfriend who went through this 7 years ago. I just want to thank everyone who voted for me, and tried to keep me in the competition. I don't regret anything I've done while I was here!!" I say in tears as my journey has ended, but I still have the rest of my life ahead.

[End of Flashback]

I block the speaker with my hand and tell Niall "he wants me to sign with Syco!" I tell him I let go of the speaker and let Simon talk "we need you back here in London in a few days!" Oh, that means I can't finish this tour with my baby. "So soon? I'm still with the boys while they tour." I tell Simon not wanting to leave. It's quiet for a minute...."well it's your choice, think it over tonight. Let me know by tomorrow. And if it's a yes we need you here in 3 days" Simon says and I say "okay I'll call you tomorrow and let you know what I decide" I hang up. I have no idea what to do. I can make music and do what I love again! ITS A RECORD DEAL!!!!! But I have my little Erin and I'm with Niall on tour!!!! "What do you think?" I ask Niall. He sighs "what do you want to do?" He throws back at me. " I don't know. I would love to make music and travel. But Niall we have a family." He nods knowing where I'm coming from. "We can't both be on tour with having a family." I think we both know where this is going "I can't take it" I say and look down. Niall grabs my hand, and makes me look at him. "You do what your heart wants you to do. If it's make music, I will 100% support you. If it's staying home with little Erin, I'll support that too." Why is he making this soooo hard!!!!!? I sigh, and say "thanks Ni. I really really do love you" he kisses me. "Mommy mommy, I'm hungry!!!!!" Erin says to me. "Okay let's all go get some food" I tell my little girl, and my hungry husband and new sister in law!
