"Joeeee! Wake upppp!"
"What time is it?" He said in his deep morning voice
"Its 8:07 im just waking you up so your on time."
"Oh thanks." He said slowly getting up
"Ima go shower." I say

We are walking to class and we have English first again
"Do you have a notebook this time?" I joke to joe
"Yes I actually do."
"Wow thats a surprise." I laugh
We got in class early so we chatted for a while
"So did you make it on the team yet?" I asked
"Not yet. Coach is going to announce them later today."
"Well don't worry i think you'll make it." I smile
Just then the teacher came in

The bell rings for lunch and im walking with joe like always and suddenly joe says something
"Hey I'll be right back." He says looking serious
"Oh alright." I said confused
Later i get to the cafeteria and i hear arguing. I go to see what's happening and its joe with this other guy.
"Wtf." I whisper and push through the crowd and when i get closer i see the other throw a punch
Joe then starts punching the other guy too
Wtf do i do?! Just then many teachers come and tried to stop the fight.
"Joe?" I say quietly walking up to him and he hears me
"Im sorry." He mouths looking down at me
"Its okay." I mouth back and touch his arm slightly
"Justin! Joe! Come with me." The principal yells and even tho she didn't call me i went with joe holding his hand.
"Miss. Taylor your presence is not needed in this situation."
"Miss. Smith may i not remind you again about what you've done last year." I say with a smirk and she just turns away from me.
Joes pov
Replay to after yesterday's football practice.
"Yo joe! You fucking with my girl?!" Justin asks me
"Wtf whos your girl?"
"Melissa. Youve been messin with her. I aint gonna let that happen."
"Dude i havent even spoken to her. She came up in me."
"You callin my girl a liar?"
"Not technically but shes obviously not telling the truth."
"Fuck you say pussy?!"
"You heard wtf i said! Bitch!" I pushed Justin and we start hitting each other
"Yo yooo! Break it up guys!" Coach Taylor says and gets in between us
"I don't want all this all my team. You both are going to get along and i don't want to see this again or your both not on the team! Understood?!"
"Yes coach." We both say
"Your dismissed to leave." Coach said and our opposite ways.

We are now about to to go to lunch and i see Melissa and Justin laughing and pointing my way. I just told Y/N i would meet her at the cafeteria so i wont worry her and walked over to them.
When i get close they start walking towards the cafeteria
"Yo Justin! Keep my name out yo mouth!" I said sternly
"Yo look who it is?"
"Dude stop dick sucking. Oh and hop off me and Y/N'S dick Melissa."
"I told you yesterday to keep my name out your mouth!" Justin pushes me and i just punch him

Y/N pov
We are now outside of the principal's office waiting for Justin to get out
"What happened?" I whispered to joe
"Nothing to worry about."
"So thats why you left me earlier? Just to go fight with Justin?"
"I mean yea. NO what no. Y/N forget about it."
"Im not going to forget about it."
"Y/N please. We can talk about this later." Joe says and i sigh
"Mr. Burrow. I may now see you in my office."
Both me and joe get up and enter the principals office.
"Now mr. Burrow tell me what happened just a few minutes ago."
Joe tells the principal the story and i just sit there in shock.
"Okay you both may be dismissed."
"Im going to beat Melissa's ass." I whisper
"Hey! HEY! Chill." Joe grabs my hand and we looked each other in the eyes
"Ima still beat her ass." I say and he smiles
I let go of his hand and walk away to find Melissa. Once i found her leaving the campus and ran up to her and hit her. There was a baseball bat next to me so i grabbed it and hit her across the head with it.
Soon later Justin comes up and grabs me
"AYE! YOO! GET TF OFF OF HER!" I hear Joe yell
"JOE! Get this." I said handing him the bat and hit Justin over the head with it.
"Don't fucking touch her!" Joe yells at Justin again as i hold him back from one arm
"Lets go before we get in trouble again." I say dragging him back on campus
Once we get back on campus we had one final class of the day
History
"Ms. Taylor, Mr. Burrow your both late."
"Sorry we were with my father."
"Okay i will let this pass just this once. Next time get a pass."
"Okay." I say and we sit down
"Now class today we are going to go over and talk about the taínos."

Class is now over and me and joe are heading to the field to see if be made the team.
"Hey coach!"
"Hey Burrow! Your on time. Everyone line up right here." My dad said pointing at the line of the field but i stand next to him
"When i call your name you may step forward."
"McPherson, Evans, Hernandez, Mixon, Johnson, Chase, Harris, Stafford, Lewis, Jenkins, and Burrow!" Coach calls out the names and everyone who made it starts to cheer.
Joe comes over to me smiling
"Hey you made it! Congratulations!" I said also smiling and going in for a hug.
