Immediately I got up off the bed running to the bathroom in a heist to empty my entire stomach. During my first and second trimester I hadn't gone through this much vomiting.

One of the downfalls of being pregnant was morning sickness. I absolutely wished I could change that.

"Are you ok?" Valentino stood above me in a second holding my hair while rubbing my back for comfort.

"Yes, I'm fine." I told him getting up to brush my teeth.

It was like this for the past three months and now I was eight months pregnant and soon to be having my baby girl.

Yayy!

I was about to hold baby Isabella in my arms in only a few weeks' time.

In the sixth month Valentino began taking me out on romantic dates while secretly buying me Rosie's and chocolates.

In the seventh month I had started taking prenatal yoga classes and Valentino was there to ensuring I completed it even though he would mumble about it ever-so-often.

More like curse.

And this month we would watch movies, go and dates but I still hadn't forgiven him just yet for cheating on me, but I was thinking about forgiving him even though he's changed a lot.

Valentino would come in every night into my bedroom and cuddle me from behind. I would always go along with it since I enjoyed his company. He had gotten very handsy and even dedicated most of the time with me when it came onto Isabella.

Whenever I mentioned to Valentino that I wanted to go home he'd come up with the same excuse about my father but sometimes I felt he was just keeping me here because he didn't want for me and the baby to leave.

And he still wouldn't answer my question whenever I asked if he would leave with me.

"I feel heavy." I mumbled going back to my bed.

It was so hard getting into bed that Valentino had to lift me up and place there.

I watched as he made his way next to me on the bed and being the emotional reck that I was I began crying.

"I have aches and pains in my lower abdomen and in my joints. I have morning sickness which does not happen in the mornings and my feet are sore." I cried.

Immediately he got up to massage my feet. I stared at him wondering if he saw me as an overweight chubby woman.

"D-do I look ugly to you?" I insecurely questioned Valentino hoping he'd say no, but he just kept quiet making me feel absolutely ugly.

"You don't have to." I kicked his hand away and turned my back to him while wiping my tears.

I don't know why but today out of all the other days I was feeling completely low. I was feeling lower than a snake's belly.

I guess it was just my hormones.

"Lydia, y-your different and I would never see you as ugly especially now that you're carrying my child. I find you more audacious and ballsy. Anyone would be fucking stupid to find you ugly." Valentino for the first time tried cheering me up with his words.

Even though it wasn't necessarily sweet.

"Are you sure you're not lying to me?" I questioned looking deeply into his blue orbs as my lips quivered waiting for any signs of a lie.

Even though he was a damn good liar.

"I swear on my own life Micetta." Valentino reassured kissing my forehead.

Isabella kicked a few times just after hearing her father's voice. Feeling the thud from my stomach Valentino got close and whispered a few words to his daughter in Italian.

"I have to get back to work." Hearing his words my heart dropped.

"Who goes to work after 6pm at night Val?"

What's even worse than feeling low is being attachment to someone who decides to get up and go leaving me to my unfavorable thoughts that could not just seem to go away.

"What do you want Lydia? Do you want me to take you out for dinner?" Valentino questioned.

"No."

"Do you want to go to the beach then?"

"No."

"Do you want to have sex Micetta?" Valentino tried working his charm while making me laugh.

"No." I responded to which he sighed defeated.

Although, I have to say that was a very good one.

"Do you want to watch a movie?"

"Maybe."

"Do you want me to get you dinner and then we could watch a movie together?" He asked.

"Yes." I delightedly accepted.

As he was about to leave, I quickly stopped him.

"I want real food this time."

"Are you saying you want food cooked by my servants?"

"Yes."

Knowing Valentino, he would've tried to cook for me, and his foods always had me going to the bathroom immediately after.

Once Valentino left, I buried myself once again with movies but after minutes and minutes of waiting on Valentino I got tired, so I decided to go see what he was doing making my way downstairs with my burning feet.

I had managed to reach the kitchen, but no one was there. I then tried to located Valentino and was directed by a guard that he was at the front of the house.

Upon calling his name I had gotten no response until I spotted him near the front door talking to his brother and his parents with two individuals on the floor as if they were prisoners.

A few guards were also gathered around.

I went up to see what the commotion was all about and gasped completely terrified at the sight of seeing the persons cuffed to the ground were no other than my two evil and vile stepsisters'.

"Lydia." Viola's voice rang out in the distance.

My stepsister's presence in the house reminded me of everything that happened when I was kidnapped.

Which lead me to begin hyperventilating.

I thought I had once buried the past but after all the troubling emotions rushing back to me due to their mere presence it was clear I was still not over what happened.

Immediately I was pulled into Valentino's arms as he securely turned my head into his chest as means for me not to see my stepsister's self-satisfied faces.

"Well, hello there sister."
