Act as sober as you can

Paul's POV

I hate it when Madie smokes and now she's trying to get us all too so I say
"No Madie I don't think we should."
"But Paul it will be fine"
She debated
"No it won't be... Let's just go back to my place and I'll order pizza"
"Ugh fine whatever."
She finally gives in
"Hey I'm going to go to the bathroom" Madie says
"Okay" I say

"So what are we doing?" Danny asked confused
"were going back to my place and get pizza"
Danny's eyes light up right when I say pizza
"Okay I'll go start the car"
"Okay" I say then toss him the keys
"I'll meet you guys in the car!" Madie says
"Taylor you should go drink some water because if were really drunk my mom won't want us in the house."
"Okieeee" she says holding the letter e until she leaves the room. I follow behind her to make sure she doesn't get hurt but right when we step into the house she throws up rapidly so I turn around to Joe and mouth "sorry!!" And he mouths back "it's fine" after I apologized I took Taylor's hair that she was holding and rubbed her back. When she was done she stood up and sat down on a barstool they had at their counter and I got her water, she finished it and we headed out for the car. When our car was in sight I saw Danny in the drivers seat and Madie in the passing a side, Danny leaned over to her but Madie pushed him away and said something then got out and went in the back seat.

Danny's POV

When Madie walked out of the bathroom I grabbed her arm and said
"Hey can we talk in the car?"
She nodded and opened the door to the outside and yelled in Paul's direction
"I'll meet you guys in the car!"
Then she walked back to the car with me and I tried holding her hand but she just crossed her arms.

When we were in the car I sat in the drivers side and she sat in the passenger side, I looked over and her and just realized how beautiful she actually looked tonight, she had on a really cute outfit and lots of bracelets like I did but you could still see some scars exposed but it didn't matter they didn't make her any less beautiful.

After I stared at her for a while she finally blurted out

"What did you want to talk about?"

"Well Madie I just wanted you to know that I still love you, I don't think I could ever not have feelings for you. When I saw you kissing Paul it made me sad because I saw proof that you don't love me the same way anymore and I just wanted you to know that I love you still and i wanted to see if I could get us back together"

After I said that I leaned in for a kiss and she started moving the opposite direction then she pushed me away and said
"Danny I love Paul, I can't do this!" Then she left the car and returned into the back seat.

Shortly after Paul opened the passenger side and helped Taylor in, she looked like she just threw up all over, but she still looked beautiful as always
"What happened to her?" I questioned Paul
"She threw up when she stood up and walked so I got her water and carried her out"
By the time he was done Madie was trying to talk to Taylor and trying to wake her up to no avail. So she sat back in her seat and Paul got in and comforted her. I drove back to Paul's house and when we stopped in the drive way Paul woke up Taylor made an announcement
"Guys try to act as sober as you can so my mom can have a good impression and Taylor we will tell her you got sick"
"Okay" Madie answered and Taylor mumbled something that didn't even sound like English.

Paul and I help taylor out and put her arms around our necks and Madie goes in front of us. When we arrive at the door Madie knocks and then Paul's mom answers the door looking happy but that expression quickly turns into worried when she sees Taylor

"Mom she got sick when we were all at Joes house and we thought to bring her back here because her dads out of town"
Paul explained

"Were you drinking at this party?" Paul's mom questioned us

Paul froze up and I spoke for him

"No Mrs.Zimmer we weren't we just wanna order pizza and watch movies in the basement, if you're alright with all of us staying here" I said with a convincing smile

"Alright I'll order Jets and dr.pepper and bring it down when it's done" She motioned for us to come in with a smile
