This can't be happening

Madie's POV

Getting this text from Paul makes me giggle at the table making everyone stare at me and when I look up at everyone I just smile for a while then Danny breaks the silence by saying

"Okie lets go in the living room and start dis partayyyyy"

Then me and Paul shoot each other a smirk then I announce to the group

"Im going to change I'll be there in a minute" I say with a unnecessarily huge smile

And a few minutes after I'm up the stairs Paul says "I'm going to clean up, you guys pick a movie" then Taylor and Danny say thanks and exit to the living room.

Danny's POV

Paul and Madie are both doing stuff so just me and Taylor walk into the living room.

I go to sit down in the pillow pile Madie made then Taylor comes with the four movies she brought and lays them out in front of me, she looks very excited, "umm lets watch Elf"
"Okay" she then picks up the movie and walks on her knees to the TV and puts in the movie then when she comes back to the pile of pillows she sits close to me, almost like she wants to cuddle.
About 10 minutes in she lays her head on my shoulder and it doesn't feel weird like maybe shes comforting me? But then Madie and Paul both come in with smiles on their faces and their both a bright shade of red.

What the hell were they doing?

Paul's POV

After Taylor and Danny went into the living room I ran upstairs to be with Madie but when I get up there I found her Twitter stalking Luke Korns (YAS UNIKORN❤️)
But she looked up instantly when I walked over to her and tucked her phone away in her pocket then whispered "hey" "hey.. I want to ask you something" "okay what?"
"Would you like to go see a movie with me tomorrow? Because we haven't been on an official date yet" "of course babe!" Then she pulls me in for a long slow passionate kiss the only thing that could pull us apart is if we needed to breath, I swipe me tongue across her bottom lip asking for a entrance but she seems to not want to do that yet and I respect that.. maybe at our date she will be ready?

Madie's POV

I pull away after umm I don't even know how long we have been kissing but we're both breathing heavily gasping for air "I'm excited for that date" I say i between breaths then followed by a eyebrow wiggle.

After a few seconds of just breathing and holding each other we separate, then Paul says "wanna go downstairs? Sounds like their watching Elf" "sure" then he puts his arm around me holding me close and begins to walk downstairs and I go into the bathroom and look at myself until I notice something purple and red on my neck so I try to wipe it away but it won't come off so I pull the collar of my pajamas down and see that it's a hickey then I whisper yell to Paul who's waiting on the outside of the door
"Oh my god Paul come look at this" and when he comes in I'm pointing to it and he just gasps sarcastically and laughs and while he's having a laugh attack he hugs me and laughs into the top of my head and I eventually start to laugh with him for a bit but when it settles were a bright shade of red from all the laughing.

He grabs my hand and intertwines our fingers bringing me into the living room and when we sit on the couch cuddling Danny turns around and says "what were you guys doing you're so red" and we turn to each other then i make up the excuse of "we did the dishes together it must be like the steam or something" "oh okay.. Wanna come down here on the pillow pile it's real comfy" "no that's fine were okay up here" after I say that Paul pokes my sides and I look up at him just staring into the bright green eyes until he pecked my forehead pulling one of the unused blankets off the ground and wrapping it around us and after about 20 more minutes of watching the movie I turn around and wrap my arms around him and bury my head into my chest then I say loudly "goodnight everyone" and then everyone replied with a mixture of night and goodnight and someone even said "boo you whore" quoting mean girls then there's a moment of silence but then everyone starting having a laugh attack but while everyone was laughing Paul looked down at me smiling and whispered "goodnight beautiful" and squeezed me tighter for a minute then everything started to die down and Danny turned off the movie so we all drifted off to sleep.

When I woke up I grabbed my phone and turned it on to look at the time and it was 9:23am so I decided to get up and get dressed but I only had the clothes from yesterday so I just put them on again then I put on some concealer then powder then winged eyeliner then finally I put on mascara and leave the bathroom.

I walked downstairs into the kitchen and make 2 waffles for everyone except me I could only eat one.

When they were all done I sat on the counter cross legged and scrolled through my Twitter feed until they woke up, I texted them a few times each but nothing so I walked into the living room to find all of them still sleeping so I took this opportunity to scream at the top of my lungs and everyone sat up worried and Danny screamed back "WHAT THE HELL" then I just smiled and said "breakfast is ready" and Paul let out a overly exaggerated loud groan as he got up but he let everyone leave the room before him to hug me and say "you better have made some for yourself" "don't worry, I did" I said poking his nose then I turned around and walked back into the kitchen and everyone was eating their food then I sat down and poked at my food with my fork until Paul squeezed my hand and looked at me then at my plate then at me again so I nodded and took a bite of my waffles and omg it was so good but I can't look like a pig, remember Madie eat at a regular pace.

So I waited about 10 seconds and ate another piece but the piece was bigger, I was eating to much, so then I took another small bite and got up and threw the rest of it away then got myself a glass of water and sat back down. Once I sat down Paul gave me worried look then continued to eat his waffles. "Um soo guys are you going to Joe's last summer party on Wednesday?" and everyone agreed.

We all just sat their in silence so I got up and went in the living room to my makeup bag and pulled out a cigarette and a lighter went out the front door very quietly and I sat down on the sidewalk lighting the cigarette then deeply inhaling and exhaling the smoke until the cigarette was gone.

When I was done I walked back in the house and walked into the living room and got my small bottle of perfume and sprayed it then popped a mint into my mouth and returned to the table where they were just talking about random stuff but then Danny asked me "where were you" "umm I just had to get some fresh air" then Paul and Taylor looked at me for a while then Taylor stopped but Paul mouthed to me "did you smoke?" And I just nodded then looked at my hands in discuss with myself.
"Do you guys known something I don't?"

"um no they don't just umm well actually lets go watch a movie"

"Okay..?"

-TIME SKIP TO TOMORROW (THE MOVIE DATE)

Paul's POV

"AHHHHH" the whole theater screams then Madie squeezes my hand and buries her head into my chest, I tap the top of her head and she looks up at me with fear from the movie and then I whisper "everything is fine babe" then we start a make out session in the middle of the theater.

Danny's POV

Taylor and I are hanging out well basically sitting together and going on social media and it gets boring after I've checked every app and tweeted a couple times so I say "hey wanna go see a scary movie? I wanna get my mind off things" "sure"

-TIME SKIP TO THE MOVIES-

"AHHHH" the theater screams and Taylor is hiding her face in my shoulder but then I see something unbearable, Madie my ex girlfriend and Paul my best friend making out. I thought they were just comfortable friends, no nO NO
