Paul's POV

After i finishing doing my hair in the bathroom I hear the toaster pop and run downstairs saying "yay yay yay yay yay yay yay yay" but when I reached the kitchen I was uneasy to see only one plate

Was Madie okay? Was she starving herself again? I won't let this happen.

So I said "Madie wheres you're food?"

"I'm not hungry"

I sit down at the island and motion for Madie to sit next to me, she does. When she sits next to me I say

"Madie i know you're hungry, you haven't eaten since before the thing yesterday happened"

"No I had pizza with Danny" she debated

"But you still have to eat breakfast, at least one bite"

She gave in and I fed her a bite and she looked like she enjoyed it so I asked her

"Do you want another bite?"

"No it's okay"

"You sure?"

"Ya just eat I'll be bright back"

"Okay..where are you going?"

"Don't worry about it" she said smiling. Madie walks upstairs and comes down soon after with something squeezed in her hand she opened the door and I stopped her and said
"Where are you going?"
"I just need to go outside for a minute, don't worry." "Okay" so I shut the door behind her but still watching her as she walks down the sidewalk then sits down and after a few seconds I saw a big puff of grey smoke and knew what she was doing I immediately swung the door open and starting storming down the sidewalk and slapping the cigarette out of Madie's hand resulting her to say "dude what the hell!" And I yelled back "Madie!! what are you doing?!" When she looked up at me she looked pissed until she realized it was me when she did she shot up and ran away so I ran after her but she ran into some bushes and I didn't hear her running anymore i finally got to the bushes and pushed through them to see Madie sitting cross legged on a bench looking at a little pond, I sat down next to her and she tried to get up to run off but I stopped her by grabbing her wrist and pulling next to me followed by me wrapping my arms around her and said

"why do you smoke?"

"Don't worry about it.. We should go to Danny's"

"wait Madie-"

she cuts me off by saying

"no I'm not going to talk about it lets just go"

she obviously didn't want to talk about it so I just nodded and walked her back to her house.

When we arrived there we walked in and heard Taylor screaming "WHO ARE YOU? WHY ARE YOU IN MY HOUSE?" Then Madie replied with a scream "ITS ME BUT I HAVE TO GO TO DANNYS" she says and grabs her phone and Danny's keys then drag me out the door

Once we get into the car Taylor comes out the door and yells for Madie to come back but it doesn't phase her as she pulls out and drives to Danny's house.

The car ride is silent it's not like a awkward silence but it's not comforting and it's kind of like just enjoying each other's presence and when we get to Danny's house I do something that I've needed to do, I have to tell Madie I like her, who am I kidding ? I love her!

"Madie.. I have to tell you something"

"What is it Paul?"

"Madie i like you.. I have for a long time and I just wanted to get it off my chest. It okay if you don't like me back, I understa-"
