2 years later...
"1..2..3!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SANJI!!" Everybody yelled as he blew his candles out and smiled with everyone. "Happy birthday sanji! You're getting old!!" Luffy said "Thaaanks Luffy. Remind me to beat you before the party is over." Sanji said.
"Ah c'mon he's only messing around. He wouldn't say that to my soon to be husband, right?" Zoro said as he hugged sanji from behind and kiss his hand.
The room was silent. "YOU'RE KIDDING ME?!?!" All three of em said. "We are getting married as soon as March 23rd." Sanji said. "Wow, well congratulations you guys. How did this happened?! Zoro you were with me everyday how did I not notice this??" Nami asked.
"Well.." Zoro started.
6 months ago. September 17th
"Hey Nami, I'm getting off early." Zoro said. "Alright then, How come?" Nami asked as she stopped typing on her computer. "Uh, Im doing something with Sanji tonight." Zoro said. "Oooooh you two going on a date?" Nami ask. "Yeah something like that." Zoro responded gathering his things. "Okie dokie! You two have fun!" Nami smiled.
"Oh and if you don't mind, could you interview our new person? Her name is Nico Robin." Zoro said. "No problem! You won't have to worry. Now go! Don't wanna keep sanji waiting." Nami said
Just as Zoro walked out he went by his boyfriends restaurant and saw him working his butt off and he smiled a little. He loves him so much. Zoro calls for a taxi and he gets home before sanji came home that night.
3 hours later sanji comes home tired and hungry. "Zoro! Nami said you were here. I'm home!" Sanji said. Zoro popped out of their bedroom and hugged the chef. "You should take a shower real quick." Zoro said. "Oh do I smell bad?" Sanji asked "No no, just...I wanna take you out on a date." Zoro said.
Sanji glowed with glee and hugged Zoro back. "Alrighty then I'll be out quick love." Sanji said. He sat his stuff down and skipped to the shower as he got more and more excited about the thought of a date. They've been on plenty dates before but he feels confident about this one for some reason.
5minutes go by and he gets dressed in his light blue button up and his favorite dress pants rolling up his shirt sleeves. Zoro walked in on sanji wearing a white button up with a few undone just for sanji and a blazer on top.
Zoro walked behind sanji wrapping his arms around his waist kissing his face. "You look very nice Cook." Zoro said. "You as well. But way more handsome in my opinion." Sanji says placing his hands with Zoro. "It's about time we go to our date, love. Let's go alright?" Zoro said.
Sanji then placed a kiss on his lips and smiled taking Zoros hand and walking out the door. "So where do you plan on taking me?" Sanji asks. "It's a surprise." Zoro asks. "Oh really? Hmm, interesting. Can't wait." Sanji says nudging Zoro.
Zoro nudged him back a little too hard causing him to fall backwards falling till Zoro grabbed him before he hit the ground. "We've been in this situation to many times." Sanji laugh. Zoro lifted him up and pulled him in playing with sanji hair. "I say not enough." Zoro says as the bus arrived to their stop.
The bus driver opens the door and smiles and the two men "well if it ain't the blonde and his boyfriend! It's been a while since I've seen yer twos faces. How ya been?" He asked. As they got on the sat right behind him. "We've been good. I'm glad to see your face again. We're actually going on a date." Sanji said.
The bus driver smiled and laughed at the two and drove on to their stop. "Now you two have fun on your little date! Hope to see you again!" The bus driver yells "Wait what's your name?" Zoro asked. "James, but you can call me Jim if you want." Jim said. "Thank you sir." Zoro said as him and sanji waved at the bus driver drive away.
When they got to their spot Sanji thought I looked familiar, then it clicked to him. "Zoro! This is the first restaurant we went together! The sushi restaurant!!" Sanji said. "Yep, I figured this would be a nice place to go to." Zoro said.
Sanji hopped in excitement and dragged Zoro inside the place. Once they got seated the two talked about how many memories they had at this restaurant. They talked for HOURS.
After they got to talking and finished eating, "Sanji, there's something I need to tell you." Zoro said. "Hm? What is it?" Sanji smiled. "Get it together Zoro. You can't blow this." Zoro thought.
Zoro got out of his seat and took a deep breath. Sanji was confused. Zoro got down on one knee and opened a box with a ring in it. Sanji froze in place as Zoro said "Sanji, will you marry me?.." Zoro asked. It got everyone in the restaurants attention even the workers were starring.
Sanji turned super red and started to cry. He couldn't believe this was happening to him. "Of course I will dummy!" Sanji said as he fell to the floor with Zoro and kissed him while sobbing. Zoro slipped the ring on sanji and sanji on Zoros. Everyone starting clapping and wishing em a happy marriage.
"So yeah that's basically how it happened. And after that we came home and...did our own thing." Zoro said. Named awed at the two of them while they guys tried to smile as they thought to themselves they didn't need to know that last part.
"So, do you guys have everything set? Invitations sent? If you need help I would love to help out. The guys too, right you two?" Nami smiled at them, but it was really a secret threat to them that if the don't she'll beat them to a pulp.
The two nodded their heads and sanji couldn't help but laugh at the three. "Yes that would actually be great. We still have some invitations we need to write so if you don't mind helping us that would be great." sanji said. Nami squealed in excitement as she hopped with glee.
"AAH! So exciting! Again, congratulations you two I am happy for the both of you. Now it's time for sanji to open up his presents and PARTY ALL NIGHT LONG AND GET DRUNK!!" Nami yelled. Zoro and sanji nervously laughed at the red heads humor but it wouldn't hurt to let loose a bit before their big day.
