Sanji woke up with his back aching a little. Half awake he grabbed some sweats and walked to the kitchen to make coffee for him.
When he was done and was on his way to the living room, he was stopped by his friends. "Have a nice night chef?" Ussop asked.
"What? Oh, you guys...I'm sorry. I'll clean everything and anything you want. We'll even leave early if you want." Sanji says.
"It's fine man, don't sweat it. But sure if you don't mind clean up after yourself." Usopp says. "What we really need to talk about does involve Zoro though." Ussop says.
Sanji was confused as he drink his coffee. "What's wrong?" He asks. "Sanji, when are you going yo tell Zoro about the situation?" Luffy asks.
Sanji felt a sense of worry wash over him. "Soon. I was actually going to tell him today." Sanji said. "Good. So you won't mind if we watch. We can help." Luffy said.
Sanji nervously laughed. "Ha, uuuh, actually I was thinking about telling him later today. When it's just us at our house." Sanji said. "Now if you don't mind, I will get my fiancé up and ready and clean those bed sheets for you guys." Sanji said walking past them.
"You really think he's going to tell Zoro?" Ussop asks. "No. That's why I have a plan to make sure he tells Zoro." Luffy says.
"Good morning love. We need to get ready to go home." Sanji said running his hand in Zoros hair. He groaned and stretched a little like a cat. "Morning. I'll get up to help." Zoro said half asleep. "Thank you love." Sanji said as he kissed his head.
As he waited for Zoro he got dressed and they both cleaned the room and Zoro took a shower before packing things up. When he got out he ran into Ussop and Luffy. "Heeeyy man, mind if we talk to you about something before you go?" Ussop says.
Zoro looked confused but was open. "Sure. But I gotta help sanji, I told him I would help when I was done." He said
"that's okay it won't take long-anyways, there's something up with sanji that he's told us about and he's been wanting to tell you." Ussop says. "Ok? Is this some sort of surprise or...?" Zoro questioned. "Sort..of?..look, he's planning on telling you when you guys get home. So when you two have the chance and everything, bring this up to him okay?" Ussop says.
Zoro leaned back on the couch a little and had a blank expression. "Ok. You two are acting weird which isn't unusual, but if it helps you sleep better at night, I'll...ask him what's up. Okay?" Zoro said as he got up and started walking towards the room.
"Zoro.. don't forget. This is really important of you to ask." Luffy said with seriousness. Zoro wasn't quite sure what to respond with. He's seen Luffy serious before but it's not often. "Yeah, sure straw hat." Zoro said awkwardly.
"What is it that sanji needs to tell me that's so important? Does this have to do something with the wedding? Maybe it's arrangement plans? No that's dumb. This is gonna bug me all day." Zoro thought to himself.
"Hey Zoro. What took you so long?" Sanji asks folding clothes to put in the suitcase. "Oh Luffy and Ussop got stuck on playing a game and asked for my help real quick." Zoro said.
"Oh, I didn't know they were playing games." Sanji said. "Yeah um, on the switchy thing." He said. "Ah, well here's a shirt for you so you won't be showing everyone your attractiveness. Only I must see it." Sanji said throwing a button up shirt at him.
The two laughed at each other and continued to put everything away and get ready to leave.
"He seems calm and not nervous about anything. Maybe I'm the only one nervous by how Luffy and Ussop put it. It's probably nothing, but for their sake I'll ask later when we get home." Zoro thought.
The two got done packing and for the rest of the time they hung out and ate together for hours. They played videos games and Wii sports. Brought out the competitive side of both sanji and Zoro. Luffy almost broke the TV by accidentally letting go of the remote controller.
Everyone agreed that Luffy wears the string tight around his wrist and to never take it off until they're done. Luffy didn't enjoy it but he thought he'd appreciate it if he didn't break their only TV.
Afterwards, Sanji and Zoro got a cab to their way home and said their byes to Ussop and Luffy. As they watched the cab drive away Ussop said to Luffy "you really think this plan will work Luffy?" Ussop says.
"I sure hope so. If it doesn't by the time we see em again, sanji is going to get a real talk from me." Luffy said as he went back inside the house with Ussop following him.
Sanji and zoro made it home tired and happy to be back at their own place. "Aah! Home sweet home! I know we have work tomorrow, but after we get done unpacking is their anything that you'd like to do?" Sanji asked.
"I can't really think of anything right now. How about we look on TV and see if there's any movies or shows that are on? I heard that stranger things got a new season if you wanna watch that?" Zoro said.
Sanji got all happy and jumpy about having a new season. "Thank GOD I've been waiting for that season for forever. I can make some pop corn too if you'd like?" Sanji smiled.
"Sounds great love. Now, we should unpack and get things into the wash as well." Zoro said. "On it! I can't wait!" Sanji squealed happily.
Zoro was happy to see sanji happy. He finds it cute he gets excited about the little things. Even if it's a show about nerdy kids playing real life DND. Reminds him a little of Jamanji.
After they got unpacking and making pop corn they turn on the show. After hours of watching the seven episodes, they were out of popcorn and were tired and ready for bed.
As they were changing into more comfortable clothes and Zoro changing out of his shirt, that's when he remembered about the stuff the guys told him.
"Hey love, there's something I want to ask you." Zoro said. "Sure, what's up?" Sanji said putting on a shirt. "Listen, Ussop and Luffy told me there was something you wanted to tell me...something important they said." Zoro said.
Sanji paused for a moment and turned to face him. "Oh that, yeah! I was telling them about how we should have Nami over this weekend to help out with the invitations." Sanji said.
"Oh, well...tomorrow I can definitely ask her if she'd be down to do that with us. Are you sure that's all it was?" Zoro asks. "I'm sure. I just...I want our wedding day to go perfectly and I want everyone to be there to witness our moment." Sanji said. Sitting on their bed.
"Completely understandable. I just want to make sure that you're not stressing to much on this alright?" Zoro says as he too get s into bed. Sanji nodded his head and smiled at him.
Zoro smiled too. "Good. Now, let's try to get some sleep cause we both got to get up early. Love you chef." Zoro said as he kissed sanjis lips goodnight and hugged him close.
Sanji fell asleep right away after saying good night, but Zoro was still awake holding sanji. He kept thinking to himself
"He's lying."
