When Sanji opened the letter he took a deep breath with his eyes closed before reading it. "PLEASE!! Let this be some type of prank. This has to be a dream.." Sanji thought to himself.
He looked down and read the neat cursive handwriting and almost vomit to what he'd read. "Hope you have a happy wedding." It said. Sanji covered his mouth with his hand so his breathing wouldn't wake Zoro up.
"How?!...I can't. This..this is gone out of hands. What am I going to do? The wedding is only in a few weeks." Sanji thought as his whole body was trembling and his skin turned pale. He felt hot and can tell his body was overheating from his stress.
He couldn't take it any longer, he ran to the bathroom and threw up. After he cleaned himself up he stood in the middle of his and his fiancés room watching his soon to be husband sleep peacefully. Seriously he can sleep on a rock and say he's had the best sleep in his life.
Sanji rubbed his face and eyes and took a deep breath. He still had the letter in his hand. He couldn't bare to look at it again so he stuck it under his clothes in his drawer while he got changed for sleep.
When he was done he got in bed laying on his side thinking and thinking. He was tired but he was eating himself alive biting his nail. That's when he felt big arms around him pulling him closer around his waist. He felt Zoro warm body and his light snores take over his thoughts.
Sanjis mind and body immediately relaxed and melted into Zoro making him more tried and making it hard to keep his eyelids open. Before he fell asleep he grabbed one of his hands and held it close to his face and placed his other one on his waist where Zoros is. He whispered "good night love." Before he drifted off to sleep.
That morning sanji woke up facing in Zoros chest. He's always loved how big it is and strong. He didn't wanna wake up just yet. He want to bask in the warmth and cuddle more with him just a little longer. He opens his eyes to look at the ring on his hand with a smile, he loves remembering how Zoro propose. It gives him butterflies all the time.
Just as he was in a good mood all of what happened last night flood into his head. His smile immediately turned into a frown and now all in his thoughts. He looked at the time and saw it was time to get up anyways so he sighed and started making some coffee.
There was a knock on the door that made him flinch hard. He looked towards the door and was hesitant. He walked towards the door and looked through the peep while only to see a goofy ass straw hat starring right into the hole.
"Sanjiii!!! I know you're in there! Open up please I have something to tell you." Luffy said. Sanji irritatedly opened the door and Luffy and Usopp made themselves at home but not to much. They know well enough Zoro is still asleep.
After some coffee and cleaning up, the three of em were in the living room. Luffy was playing a video game sanji bought him to play while he was over here, (sometimes he plays it to when he's gone) Ussop on his phone, and sanji observing Luffys game. Sanji likes to say he sees Luffy as a little brother way, they've been close for a long time and he's happy about that.
Just as sanji mind was on the topic of little brother his brain flooded with terrible memories of his brother. Sanji got chills and started biting his nails again. Luffy took notice of this and felt as tho something was off.
Luffy paused his end and sat at the end the couch closer to sanji starring at him. "Yes Luffy?" Sanji asks. "Is there something the matter?" Luffy asks. "Not at all why do you ask?" Sanji asks. Luffy makes a face of doubt and thinking..? As he stares at the blonde. "I think there's something you're not telling me." Luffy says.
This gets Ussop attention and Sanji. "There's something you're not telling me Luffy. You can to my house wanting to tell me something and instead you play a game. So what is it you wanted to tell me?" Sanji asked.
"I wanted to tell you that you and Zoro are going to have a sleep over at mine and Ussop place." Luffy said. Sanji was sort of shocked at this. "Um, any specific reason why Luffy?" Sanji asked. "I just think having a sleep over would be fun. And you guys as a couple never been to our place." Luffy said.
Sanji sighed and leaned back in his chair. Lemme talk to Zoro about it today and I'll let you know before you leave. When are you wanting this sleep over?" Sanji asks. Luffy hummed as he was thinking and said "how about this weekend? It's Wednesday so you'll have Thursday and half of Friday to be ready." Luffy smiled.
Sanji sighed and said ok and Luffy and them continued on with their day and Zoro finally waking up. After Zoro woke up and had some coffee he decided to join Luffy with his game and fight him.
By the end of the day all of em discussed what Luffy had said earlier. Zoro was all on board for it making it settled for them that they'd stay the night with Luffy for two days. As Ussop and Luffy were walking out the door Ussop spoke up.
"Glad that plan worked out. I was actually starting to think it wasn't going to work cause of how you said it. You didn't really ask." He said. "Even if he were to say no I would've made them." Luffy said. "We're you always this rough? Anyways, don't you think if you would've pushed it sanji would've become suspicious of you and asked what your deal was? What if he made you spill about what happened last night." Ussop said.
It became quiet between the two of em. "At that point I would've just dragged em out. What happened last night...was just enough to brake the camels back. We needed to do that to get them somewhere safe for a bit until we can fix it." Luffy said as he remembers last night.
As the two were sleeping. Luffy heard people outside their place. Now they live in a neighborhood were peoples houses were kinda close but the voices weren't from people he knew were from around here, so he got up and shuffled he feet towards the door and couldn't believe what he saw.
He stepped outside more to look at everything around him and he saw cars and buildings trashed and saw a neighbors house on fire. His only instinct was to run in there and help with anyone who was trapped. There was only a woman and a child stuck. He heard a voice behind him and it was Ussop.
He told Ussop to grab the women as he grabbed the kid and ran outside just before the house blew up. They watched for a few seconds then the women and child started crying. Ussop was already calling for the fire department.
"What happened here?" Luffy asked. "I don't know! There were these strange people asking about their brother and when I told them I didn't know they set my house on fire." The women cried.
Luffy had a shock feeling to him. "You know what they looked like by chance?" He asked. The women coughed back some her tears and described them as their hair colors and having weird eyes brows. Luffy was bursting with anger and told the women thank you. That's when he found out they were in town as he heard sirens closing in close to the scene.
"What if they come back again?" Ussop ask. "They won't. They were looking for sanji and missed. I don't think they'll be back." Luffy said. Ussop looked at the straw hat and sighed. "I hope you're right pal." He says as they walk home.
