Mukuro's POV

It really is a simple concept, but it's almost deadly. A shared thing for all the victims, the experience that has just been universally dubbed as "The Killing Pain," comes on the day and time you died. It's hard to put into words, but it's the most unbearable worst pain you can think of. For Sayaka? She has it in her stomach. It's sharp, like a knife. For us unlucky folks whose times of death were not recorded, the executed, we get the pains whenever we feel extremely strong emotions. I feel it all over, but mostly in my head.

Tonight, me and Sayaka were going to stay up late and prepare for it, trying to numb the pain as much as possible, probably using all the ice packs in the process. Leon also offered to help, as he does every year, as apologies for what happened. They share the blame, they both brought their deaths upon themselves.

We pulled into the driveway of the house, and I made my way over to Mikan and Ibuki's room to pick up supplies.
