My alarm started to go off at 5:00 I did not train before school but I still got up a bit early. I watched as Marty rolled over and I walked to the bathroom. I walked out of my room and into the kitchen and started breakfast.

Once Marty and I had both eaten it was 5:37. I went back to my bed room and started to get dressed for the day. Marty watched me put on a white top with lace cut outs. I pulled on my dark blue skinny jeans and put on my black Converse. I went into the bathroom and put my long hair up into a pony tail. I grabbed my white watch and my arrow ring and put them on. I looked at the clock it said was 6:30 I grabbed my phone and keys. I was out the door and on my way to school.

When I showed up at school I headed to my locker. I sarted shoving my books in it. "Oye, you mind helping me?" Asked a voice behinde me. I turned to see a smirk across the face of none other than Alexander.

"What you don't want help from the girl staring holes in your back?" I asked motioning to the girl staring at him once he looked she looked away. I could not lie he looked good. He was wearing a black cut up Green Day shirt that was now a muscle shirt. This let his tattoos be easily notice out in the open. His dark jeans looked like a dog had eaten out the knees. His keds were a littel beat up but that was the job of shoes. I met his brown eyes and relised I had been caught staring.

"What about my traning partner staring me up and down right in front of me?" He asked. I socked him pretty hard in the arm. "Does that get you a lap later?" He asked shaking his arm trying to rid himself of the pain.

"Only if I get caught, whimp." I said laughing.

"Oh really?" He asked rasing a fist to my arm. I grabed it gently and twisted him into the lockers.

"I was not the one to start this but I can end it." I told him.

"You did start it by staring." He laughed. Kids were starting. I laughed shoving him softly after letting him go.

"What is your first class?" I asked.

"Math." He said pulling a paper from his pocket. I snached his schedule away from him.

"Ugh." I groaned. "You have three of my classes." I told him. He laughed and took the paper back.

As we walked to his first class he asked. "Do you practice after school?" He was looking down at me and I realized how tall he was.

"Um," I blanked for a second. "No, why?" I asked.

"Well I was hoping to cash in my rain check for a tour of my new town." He said looking in front of him.

"Your new town? Wait you mean I am stuck with you?" I joked. He looked down but not at me this time he was staring at the ground and tried to smiel but it was fake. "Hey I was joking." I told him. He forced a laughed and told me he knew. I doubted that with how much it killed his playful mood.

"So what time am I to meet you after school?" I asked.

"I was planing to do some running at the gym-" I cut him off. "You could go running with Marty and I." His hands clenched. "I'm not traning with some one else she is my dog." I told him. He laughed. This one was real.

"Your girl dog is named Marty what is it short for?" His laughter reached out and made you want to join him. His eyes wrinkled at the sides as his mouth split into an even larger smile.

"Nothing I just thought she looked like a Marty." I slapped his arm softly. We neared his math class . I told him goodbye. With that he walked into his class. As he walked in the class I walked down the hall towards my own first class.

After class I walked back to Xander's class to pick him up and head to second period. It was strange to try and make conversation with someone I met just a day ago.

Once the school day was over. I took Xander back to my house. I put on a black sports braw under my cut up BVB shirt. I would have just worn my sports bra but we were going to do more than just go for a jog. I grabed on my baggie gym shorts. I braided my hair and grabbed Marty's collar. I walked out and saw Alex changed. He stood in the same Green day shirt but had changed into running shorts and shoes and his hair that as down was now in a lose ponytail.

"I was going to offer to drive you by your house but okay I guess we can just get started." I said grabbing my phone.

"I try not to go home offten." He said looking at the concrete.

"Why?" I asked I knew why I hated being home but I knew nothing him besides the fact that he was a good fighter.

"My stepmother is a witch, but my father loves her soooo much. In truth they are just useing each other but every time I bring it up it's simply not true or I must have take one to many knocks to the head." He stopped. "Sorry I guess I have been waiting to tell someone that." He apologized.

"It's okay I understand my parents are room mates more than they married but they wount get a divorce." I said as we walked down the street.

"Exactly!" He exclamed.

"I asked my mom one time when she had had one to many drinks and she cried on my shoulder saying that they were living together for my sake." I laughed.

"I think some people just would not know what to do with out a partner in life no matter how much they fight." He said petting Marty on the head.

"I couldn't be with someone if I did not love them. That is what boggles my mind about my parents they aren't in love anymore." I said with a shrug. Xander pulled out his phone and turned on his music. Green Day Holiday was the first song on. He had a smile on his face at the song.

"You and Green Day." I laughed. He shrugged.

"They are good." I held up my hands.

"I never said they weren't."
