Loki jerked awake from the 'deep sleep' panting hard. She put her hands on her face panting hard. 'What the hell was that? ', Loki asked out to herself before climbing out of the bed.
"Loki?", he heard Thor's voice from behind.
" Thor?? Wait... What is this place?? ", Loki asked confused.
" Oh. This is Jane's cabin. ", Thor replied and threw himself in the bed making himself comfortable.
"The one, who you met when you were banished? ", Loki asked still confused.
" Yes.." Thor asserted. But before Loki could shoot more questions, Thor decided to comment.
"Why are dressed like that? "
"Wha. Oh yeah. This. I went out with someone. ", Loki answered not bothering to say 'who'.
" You reek of sweat. Go bath, sister. ", Thor commented again.
" Ok. I'm not going to going to argue with that.. Where's the bathroom? ", Loki inquired rubbing her still-sleepy eyes.
Thor smiled at that but knew it was better left unsaid. It kind of reminded him of their childhood.
" To the left. ", Thor replied.
Loki walked into the bathroom and was confused to find no tub or pool. She accidentally turns on the shower making her clothes wet. She cursed under her breath and with a swoosh her clothes vanished. She stood in the shower blankly for some time. Her mind whirling around with a thousand scenes. That dream was way too real. It seemed like a vision. But she couldn't even recognize most of the people in that dream. And of course, the day's event, Anderson. She shouldn't feel this betrayed by someone she met barely a day ago.
When Loki came out of his shower, he was in his male form. After yesterday's events, he felt exhausted but his siedr was growing steadily. So that was good news.
Thor was on the couch looking at some papers that seemed to be all over the place.
"What are you up to? ", Loki asked getting curious.
"Oh, nothing. Just looking at some of Jane's stuff. Humans know so little of the world outside. It's fascinating. ", Thor commented. Loki didn't reply to that but smiled. In a few hours, he filled in Thor with everything that had happened. Except for his sort of messed up days with Anderson of course.
Everything was fine but Thor still had one doubt.
"We can still return to Asgard, right? I mean is that a one-way path or what? " he asked.
"Of course, we can. Were you even listening? They are not mortals. They aren't supposed to be here.", Loki responded.

That creature still in Loki's form wandered in the streets aimlessly. She felt something she hadn't felt in over a thousand years. Freedom.
" Denzel. ", a voice called out. She stopped dead in her tracks as she could recognize the voice crystal clear.
"Katherine. ", she grinned and turned to face her, a grin plastered on her face. The next moment she found herself kissing Katherine. The kiss was desperate yet loving at the same time. When was the last time she kissed Katherine, she didn't remember. Ever since she was locked away by him her memory was hazy. But at this moment she knew, she still had a chance. A chance to live her life, with Katherine. However, she had to complete his task in exchange for her freedom. Katherine quickly deepened the kiss as Denzel tried to pull away. But she pulled away anyways.
"Too much for a reunion don't you think?', Denzel asked. Though it felt like a warning her grin said otherwise.
"Maybe. ", was all she got. " I heard you were out again from Jessica. H-how? I mean did he let you go? This is permanent, right? ", Katherine rambled.
"He did but with a condition though. I have to complete one small task of his and I'm free. ", Denzel replied with a sigh.
"What is the task? Maybe I can help you. ", Katherine offered but her request was denied immediately.
"No. I have to do this on my own. I want to. "
Katherine felt a little disappointed but didn't show it. They decided to go to Katherine's place. If Denzel was surprised by the fact that Katherine had a home in Midgard, she didn't show it.
"What is the task? ", Katherine asked again.
"It's quite simple actually. I just have to make sure everything plays out according to the prophecy. I mean it's Loki. He will most certainly resist. But nothing I can't handle. I just need his trust. ", she replied vaguely.
