Tw/ mental breakdown
I had finally arrived at my new house. It was bigger and I mean much bigger. It was late and I didn't have my bed yet, what should I do? Maybe I will go to a hotel. But I don't really know if there's hotels near my house. What will I do? Should I call Karl? Maybe. But I don't want to call him at this time. We just met, is it weird to ask can I sleep at his house? I don't even know where he lives. I thought to myself.
"Hey Vada! Why you're calling It's 11PM?" "Hello Karl, I'm so sorry if this sounds weird and It's ok if you're not okay with it, but can I come over to your house tonight? My bed isn't here yet.." I asked him. "Don't be sorry! And yes of course you can come!! Just text me your address and I'll be there." "Okay thanks, Karl. " I ended the call, texted him my new address and then just sat on the ground. I leaned to the wall behind me, a few tears running down my face.
Around 10 minutes later he was knocking on the door. I then got up and walked to the door. I then opened it and there stood Karl. The smile that was on his face quickly faded away, when he saw the tears in my eyes.
"Hey is everything alright? You can talk to me if you need to."
I quickly just wiped off the tears from my face. "Yeah I'm fine, don't worry about me." "Are you sure? You're crying.." "Yeah, let's just go." I said as Karl gave me an unsure look. I then locked my door, taking my phone and keys with me. We sat in Karl's car, and before he started driving, he gave his phone to me. "Just put on any music you like!" "I don't know if you'll like it.." "I won't judge." He said with a smile. I then searched up The neighborhood, only to see that it was already in the recent search. I then put on Sweater Weather. Karl Immediately looked at me with a smile. He then just started singing along the song, which just made me giggle. He then started driving while still singing the song. He knew every lyric like it was his own song. Maybe he did like it.
