-Karl POV-

It didn't take that long for Vada to wake up, and when she did, I just sat on the bed and hugged her. "You're awake" "Yeah- what happened?" She said as she petted my back, hugging me back. "You passed out.. I didn't know what to do... I'm not sure if I believe that you're alright." "I'm sorry." "About what?" I said as we broke the hug and I sat on the bed, drawing shapes on Vada's hand with my finger. "Everytime I needed to drank some water, skating, at the beach, at the restaurant, I felt a little dizzy but I didn't want you to worry about me or ruin our day.." few tears ran down her face. "Hey, hey it's okay. Next time please tell me, it's for your safety okay? Even if you're not with me, just call me. The days aren't gonna end any soon." She nodded as I pulled her into another hug.

I felt so happy with her. She's so amazing. I wanted to be there for her whole life. These thoughts start to sound a bit deep.. did I like her, my best friend? Of course I didn't, right?

-Vada POV-

I was just laying on my bed, scrolling down twitter. I got bored, so I got up from the bed, heading downstairs. I head to my kitchen and take a monster from the fridge, and some sour patch kids from the cabinet. I then start to walk upstairs, as a sudden wave of dizziness hits me. I slowly got up the stairs, and sat on my bed, texting Karl.

Karl-
I'm not feeling great-

-abt to pass out?

Yea-

-call me

Okay-

I then called him, him answering almost right away. "Go and lay down, I'm on my way there." I laid down, not saying a single word. I put the phone on my chest, since my arms were too weak to hold it. "Vada?" "Yea.?" "Can you try and stay awake, I'm soon there?" "Okay.." I then just focused on my breathing, listening to the sounds that came from the other line, waiting for Karl to come. Not long, he rushed into my room. "Hey how are you feeling?" There was a bit of silence. "Horrible." "Okay.. have you drank any water?" Karl said as he sat on the bed with the sour patch kids, making me sit on his lap, leaning on him. "Yeah" I watched his hands as they opened the pack. "Can you eat these?" I slowly got one and ate it, taking another one. "Karl I don-" everything turned black.

-Karl POV-

Vada passed out. I was confused, why did she pass out again if it wasn't low sugar blood? I slowly and carefully made her lay down on the bed, laying next to her, kind of just hugging her, waiting for her to wake up. A while goes on, and she starts to move in my arms. I lift my head and open my arms, letting her move. "Karl?" "Yes?" I answered as I smiled, feeling Vada hide her face onto my chest. "Thank you." "For what?" I started going through her hair. It was soft. "For caring, and staying." I chuckled. "Of course. I promised."
