VII - hospital.

Tw/ passing out

"I'm so hungryy" I said as we were waiting for our food to come. "Yeah same. Do you think it will be good?" "Definitely!" I answered as I got my phone and took a quick picture of Karl. I smiled and saved it, since it was on snapchat. Me and Karl then started having a small chat before the food came. And when it did, it looked super delicious. Karl ended up getting the same as I, which was a steak and some smashed potatoes. We then tasted it and it was super good. We enjoyed our time together. Karl was just about to finish his meal, I had a bit left too. The same faint feeling had filled my body, but much stronger. I felt like I would throw up if i ate more. "Could you pour me some water please?" I asked Karl. He poured me water, with maybe a worried face? "Is everything alright? You've been very thirsty today," "Yeah I'm good my throat is just a bit dry." I said, again lying. It made me feel bad that I lied to him so much, but i didn't want to ruin the fun. I drank some of the water, but it didn't seem to help very much. "Do you want more? It's really fulling.." "No thanks, you don't need to eat if you don't want to" "Okay.." We then waited for the price, which was surprisingly cheap. Karl paid, but let me leave some tip. We then skated back to my house. It was a bit impossible to skate fast since the world felt like it was spinning around.

-Karl POV-

We arrived at Vada's house. "What's wrong." I said after I took my shoes off. "What? Nothing is wrong." "I can clearly see that there's something wrong." Vada had gone into the kitchen. "Karl there is nothing wrong!" She shouted from the kitchen, before a loud collapse that was heard from there. I ran in the kitchen to see her passed out on the floor. And ofcourse I started to panic. "V? Vada? Vada wake up.." I said as I took my phone from my pocket, putting the numbers; 911 in. It ran three times before I heard a lady on the phone.

"Hey what's your emergency?" "Hey uhh- my best friend- was acting weird and now- now she passed out and I'm super worried." "Okay, we can send an ambulance there, just tell me your and her's name, and your current location." "Uh- Vada Stevens, I'm- Karl Jacobs- and the location is ------" "Okay, thank you Karl, the ambulance is on the way, just make sure Vada is breathing." "Okay than- thank you" I said, a few tears running down my face.

After a moment, the ambulance finally came. The doctor that was at the back of the ambulance with me and Vada asked me some questions about her, like what she's been eating today, has she drank water, or does she have any diseases. And as soon as we got to the hospital, a few doctors took Vada to a room, and one of the doctors led me into the waiting room, making me sit on the chair. My leg started to bounce up and down, but I couldn't do anything about it. I just sat there, staring at the busy doctors, nervous of if something worse had happened to Vada. I wasn't over protective, but I was just overthinking, because she was my best friend, after all.
