The sky was once again that ombre of pink and orange, not long now until Jim would be able to see the wonder called TrollMarket once again. The two best friends sat beside each other playing video games as they awaited their visitors, dusk was fast approaching.

"You know. Maybe you could get AAARRRGGHH!!! to play a game with you," Jim suggested not taking his eyes off the screen, effortlessly maneuvering his fingers across his controller with his sneaky nearly three years of practice ahead of Toby.

"That big troll from yesterday?" Toby responded with his attention still glued on the game as he struggled against Jim.

He grunted and spammed the buttons on his controller as a small sweat was beginning to form from the strain.

"Yeah, you guys have compatible personalities, if you get to know him."

Jim dropped his controller and smirked as the game ended in his victory leaving Toby to huff in frustration.

"Hey! that's not fair, you have years more play time than me" the Trollhunter complained as he turned to Jim with a scowl. "I declare a rematch but you get no buffs."

Jim glared casually at him picking up his controller once again,

"fine, you're on."

Toby went on to win not one game. It was only after an indefinite number of draws or losses when the auburn haired finally gave in to the acceptance of his subordination,

"One day I will beat you, oh mighty one" he enthusiastically declared with a sinister tone. "The time of Tobias Domzalski is nigh, prepare, Jim Lake!"

"Can't wait Tobes."

The blue eyed boy took his friends controller and placed it back beside the screen along with his before the two stood up and headed downstairs.

"Alright but be prepared for when you least expect it. One moment you could be on a walk and the next you have been nun chucked by the one and only," Toby exaggerated walking into the kitchen.

"Master Tobias!" Blinky excitedly called out as he burst open the back door. "We have returned to you and Master Jim as promised."

The boys yelped.

"Oh, hey trolls" Toby greeted as he recognised Blinky.

"Hello," AAARRRGGHH!!'s gruff voice shouted over in return from the forest behind, showing no signs of approaching.

Toby frowned. "What's the big guy doing way over there?" he questioned with a puzzled expression.

"What would be the point in him coming when we are just going to be leaving for Trollmarket anyway?" Blinky shrugged turning to his companion then being lifted back over into the trees. "We merely came to retrieve you two."

Toby's eyes widened and he ran forwards towards t where Blinky disappeared to.

"Wait! Right now?" He gestured back to his house, "I thought you were going to tell me more about what I am doing before I am thrown right into the middle of it? I am a wanted man now!"

Blinky shrugged as he stood onto AAARRRGGHH!'s hand,  peaking up from the top of the fence.  "You already know the basics so your training down in The Hero's Forge must commence at once to defeat the threats described by Master Jim."

Toby slightly relaxed but couldn't help the anxiousness that still dwelled within him.  Jim took notice of his behaviour and slung his arm around the boy.

"You'll be fine, Tobes. You got me to keep you in check and alive."

Toby looked up to him and smiled with some comfort in the situation. AAARRGGHH!! grinned happily and grabbed the boys, lifted them from the yard and gently dropped them beside Blinky as he lead them through the cover of the tree line in silence.
