Change:

A simple word, to become different or to transform someone or something.

Odette sat waiting in the coffee shop, a glance over at the foggy window nearly drew her finger in. She couldn't help it. Like muscle memory she made a small smiley face on the window, smiling back at it.

While starring out the window she noticed a certain someone walk past, a small hiccup escaping her lips as her face began to heat up through the cloudy embarrassment. She looked down at the cookie on here plate as she heard the door open, Jack letting out a chuckle.

She chuckled a bit nervously. "Hey.. how's it goin?" He shrugged and sat across from her. "Kinda shitty but seeing you may or may not have cheered me up." Odette couldn't help but smile a bit, the thought of her making his day any bit better left a warm fluttery sensation in her heart. "So, what do you get here?" "Uh.. tea lattes and things of the sort. I'm not actually that much of a coffee person."

He nodded at her feelings toward the bitter beverage. The tiny useless details she would share with him felt more meaningful then they did before. Something about speaking with him just filled her with a light joy that she almost felt shameful of. She really didn't know, or even begin to understand why she felt this way to him almost instantly. Maybe the two just clicked, like their personalities were meant to merge together.

"Shame though, I like coffee." The girl almost felt bad. "W-well I don't hate it or anything, its just that-" The man cut her off with a chuckle "Its fine, everyone has their own opinions."

He was right and Odette wasn't usually one to change her opinions if she didn't have to, but this was different. She wanted to share her feelings with him. She wanted to have almost everything in common with him, if it meant that he would like her any bit more.

Soon it was time to order their drinks. Odette followed behind the man as they walked up to the counter, Jack glanced back at her before ordering a plain black coffee. That same feeling of needing to change for him lingered in her heart. Kai exchanged a wink with her to which she rolled her eyes at.

They mockingly looked over at Y/n and in a terribly sarcastic French accent asked, "And what will you have madame?"

A. You like tea, just go with it.

B. Maybe a change isn't so bad.
