I remember falling asleep with you on the phone,
Talking to you all night long,
I remember whispering sweet nothings till my hearts content,
Listening to you was my hearts intent,
I remember sharing in each other's secret,
You telling me what you needed,
I remember being excited just to hear your voice,
Wondering if I was still your choice,
I remember waiting anxiously on the ring of the phone,
Desperately not wanting to be all alone!
I remember talking on the phone for ours on end,
Now texting is how you get to know a friend!
