Friday, April 29th, 2022: 1 p.m.

"I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you." I repeated while kissing on Leona's face.

It was the next day, and I was at home all bandaged up messing with Leona while she slept. Luciana is down for a nap as well, and I'm just up and bored.

I'm so grateful for Leona. Y'all don't even know. I've been shot and knocked down so many time and none of my partners even offered a helping hand, but my baby. She held it down, and took over the mafia. She'll have full control until this mission is over because I refuse to take the credit for the work she's put in.

She's the one who's been tracking down the men who tried to kill me. She's been the one talking to me everyday, and taking care of me even though we were miles apart. She's been the one taking care of my kids while also taking care of herself. She's been the one since day one.

I'm so in love with this woman. I hate arguing with my woman. I love talking to my woman and joking with her. I hate being apart from my woman. I love being under my woman even when she pisses me off. I even love her lil attitudes.

"Zucchero, go to bed. I love you too." She huffed causing me to smile.

"I've been sleep for two weeks." I said then she started chuckling then she opened one of her eyes.

"What's up, baby?" She asked yawning then she opened both of her eyes then she turned on her side, facing me.

"I'm bored, but I've been thinking. Who let them in my office?" I asked caressing her cheek then I kissed her plump lips then I put my hand on her belly.

"I found Aria's handprints on the actual door it's and little bit of her blood, and then I found Winston's prints on the keypad." She said causing my face to scrunch up.

"I think they forced her to give them the code because you know Aria isn't going to break for anything. They had to say or do something to her to make her give the code." She followed up causing my fists to ball up.

"I need to talk to her." I said then she shook her head.

"She's not talking right now and I don't blame her because that shit can really mess with someone's mental. When she's ready to talk all we can do is listen, but we can't push her into talking if she's not ready." She said causing me to let out a deep breath.

"I hate that you're right, but this is what I be talking about. They try and hide their relationships from and then look what happens. I'm protective for a reason because half the time the person doesn't even want them fr they just want to get close to them and use them as leverage because they know I'll do anything for my family." I said then she rubbed my face.

"Calm down baby. We gonna handle it." She said softly then I leaned forward and pecked her lips.

"Gimme a real kiss." She said causing me to smile then I kissed her passionately.

"I need you baby." I husked while palming her ass then I squeezed it.

"You know we can't have sex until you heal." She said then I rolled my eyes.

"When do we ever listen?" I asked with my lip poked out.

"Now, because I'm afraid to lose you again." She softly then I grabbed her hand and kissed it.
