Sunday, February 13th, 2022: 2:15 p.m.

"Hi bestie!" Naomi said excitedly with a big smile.

It's the same day, but a couple hours later and we're now at home for lunch with Naomi. After discussing things with Zucchero I realized he was right and I need to be more cautious about being out and stuff.

"Hi." I said with a small smile.

"Where's my niece?" she asked as we walked inside the kitchen.

"With her daddy taking a nap. I'm sure they'll be up soon, come let's sit in the dining room." I said walking to the open room next to the kitchen.

"I miss her, you haven't been sending me pictures lately." she pouted taking a seat then I sat across from her.

"I honestly don't touch my phone, unless Leonardo leaves. I've been enjoying my family so much, and speaking of family me and Luciana's last name is going to change soon." I said smiling big holding up my ringed finger then I started wiggling it around.

"Oh my gosh! Congratulations to the both of you, when did he propose?" she asked with a large smile then the server I hired placed our appetizer in front of us.

"Yesterday evening, and thank you so much." I said smiling big.

"You're welcome, you deserve this bestie. I can't wait to get like you one day." she said cheesing.

"So do you have a boyfriend or something." I asked grabbing my fork then I stabbed it into my salad picking up a few pieces of lettuce with a lot of dressing.

"Nope." she said popping the "p".

Wow.

"Oh ok." I said in disbelief.

"Are you ok? You've been quiet ever since I gave you a response earlier." Naomi asked looking over at me.

She's right. I've been only speaking when she spoke to me and just ate my food as the different courses came out.

"No, why do you keep lying to me?" I asked looking across from the table.

"We'll be back." Leonardo said turning around then he rushed around the corner.

"What do you mean?" she asked looking genuinely confused.

"I know about you and Fernando. He can show you the way out, I'm done." I said getting up from the table then I started walking out the dining room.

"Leona, wait!" Naomi exclaimed.

I just ignored her and walked inside my bedroom and shut the door, walking over to the bed I flopped face down and just cried. It may not seem like a lot, but it hurts. It hurts because what else could she be lying about if she's lying about this small thing.
