Finally the weather was warm and the plants were getting their color again, you could just tell that spring was in the air. "Ring," rang the school bells of Milmoore High School, all the kids ran out talking on about their plans for vacation. "Bye guys I'm off to tanning on beaches and living the cruise life!" Aliya bragged to her friends. Aliya was a tan faced girl with thick and straight brown hair and a loud, slightly rude personality.
Beep, beep, beep, the alarm blared throughout the cabins. The red lights blinked reflecting on the rising water as chaos ran loose on every deck. People ran down the stairs towards ground floor and clambered onto life boats. It was only a matter of time before it stopped being women and children first and started being every man for himself. The lifeboats filled chaotically and randomly, which wasn't a good thing because families were separated. The tether was cut and it splashed into the water. "All I wanted was to lay on the Puerto Rican beaches and hang out with my friends. I never wanted any of this," thought fourteen year old Aliya as she looked around at her fellow survivors. Then she realized that there were only girls on the boat, more particularly, young girls.
