"Hey it's Riverdale's girl next door, Betty Cooper. You're eleven steps to finish this unbearable screeching to your ears so congrats. For the second reason, it's about my other best friend."

Everyone froze at the mention of the words best friend since nobody was ready for their audio file yet. It was too soon for all of them but they braced themselves for the upcoming events.

"Kevin Keller-the sweet headed of the sheriff's son of Riverdale. Welcome to your tape. This is about a guy ditched his friend in a heartbeat then just but because I was trying saved you from the farm
while he was brainwash, he felt the need ruin me. One achievement at a time. What made you hate me, Kevin? I'm sorry that I was trying help you get you out of the farm. So, don't go around saying I was ruin your life and breaking your heart as my heart was already broken too, but I'm sorry if or even humiliated you."

"Sorry to Betty," Kevin said, sorrow filling his voice as his guilt overwhelmed.

"You literally had remove me from the cheerleaders team, you had to go get my friends against me, you had to beat to punch every time. I wanted to try a new club, just for girl who told you, that she cared about her friend. You could have been a good friend Kevin, All we have is a bunch of what ifs, and I hate that. I miss having you as a friend, you could've been one of people who could saved me, but instead, you become one of the reasons why, and may we meet again."

"Till we meet again." Kevin thought as he too wondered what might have happened if he had just waited.

"Becoming friends with you is the most cliche thing, you know? The best friend that everyone wants. They even made a movie about those of your kind. Still, it was great how you were there for me after my disastrous best friend breakup. I felt like I wasn't alone again, I had someone yet like everybody else on the files, you killed me."

You killed me, those words stayed in their heads as they try to keep their composures at Pop's. They all shared a look and it was about time when Betty reveals about who this file was for.

"I missed being your friend, Kevin, I really do. But the moment Veronica arrived, I became nobody. Well, probably not a nobody but simply a bystander, the blame is fully yours, don't worry. I mean, I fell for the spell of Veronica Lodge too. But our differences is that I still stood by you. Do you remember when Mr. Johnson caught you vandalizing the guy's bathroom? I saved you from getting suspended. But when I needed you for Archie's sixteenth birthday, you weren't there to save me from those cops that placed me in that cell for 16 straight hours. I had to answer to my parents why I snuck out at 11:45 at night then end up in jail. God, did you care less the next day. You asked me if I was okay and when I told you I wasn't, you just gave me puppy eyes then went forward with your adventures with those who just came out of the closet. Look, I know you having a hard time being the sheriff's gay son. But how about me? I'm an anxious perfect girl-next-door of this shitty town with parents who think I'm my sister. I lost my identity the day they sent Polly to that Institute because I became their Polly, your father even accepted the day you came out to him when he went sent as a respondent to that major case downtown."

Jughead had his thoughts in a place where his Betty was still beside him at the Twilight Drive-In. He would stroke her hair gently as she spoke off her and Polly's childhood. It soothed him to imagine her in this precious phase while he had struggled protecting his sister, Jellybean, while their parents would often fight. Her childhood was what he wanted for his sister but their mother brought her with her, leaving him behind with their alcoholic father. But now that the truth has come out, it ruined his ideology of a perfect childhood because that one girl he believed was the book definition of perfection. He felt how she probably felt when she discovered the real situation of Polly from her father.

"God, I'm sorry. I'm starting to be a little aggressive regarding personal matters. It's just painful to have a friend who neglects someone's call for help. You could've helped me. I'm really sorry Kev. Im sorry. You deserve to be out there not stuck with me. You'll still be my queen bee, love you."

Then it cuts back to silence. And deep breaths were taken by many.

"That's why Kevin hasn't been active recently. He feels sorry for what happened." Veronica did see the change in Kevin recently.

"And he's been more affected by her death rather than the day Jason died." Cheryl added as Jughead rolled his eyes, because old Cheryl had to make everything out of her and Jason. The awkward silence made everything worse until Reggie saw a newcomer in Pop's.

"Hey, look! Doesn't that girl look like Betty, but like a brunette kind?" Reggie pointed out while the rest looked and all of them were left with their jaws dropped.

Brunette Betty walked passed their booth but Veronica was overwhelmed with her feelings. "Betty? Betty. Betty." She kept saying her name until she got to her.

She turned around to reveal a girl who replied to her, "Um, excuse me. Who are you?"

Jughead stood up and followed Veronica. "Jughead, this is Carmen Smith. She's new and we'll be her new friends." That smile it was too familiar to ruin him. He reciprocated her smile and turned his back. Something's wrong here.

"Hey! I'm Carmen, Lorelai Carmen Smith. I just moved from New York and I guess I'll be your new friend, according to Veronica."

This is Betty, I know it. But how?
