Chapter 3: Farewell and the Genin Exams

Flashbacks

After their last spar Naruto and Sasuke were panting hard completely exhausted, while Goku and Vegeta only smiled impressed at their progress. "Well, I think it's time for us to leave." Goku said and noticed that Naruto and Sasuke's mood dropped. "But before we do part ways we have something for the two of you." Vegeta told them. Naruto and Sasuke perked at listening this. "What is it? What is it?" they asked together excited. Vegeta only chucked and brought out two lockets with the Saiyan symbol on one onside and the kanji for 'Go" on the other side. "We had this made after we found that Sasuke had dormant Saiyan genes as well." Vegeta said.

Flashback

Sasuke and Goku were sparring when Goku released a Kamehameha wave at Sasuke teleporting behind him. Goku was expecting him to dodge however something inside Sasuke triggered and he had taken the beam head on. Everyone was shocked to say the least. When the dust settled, they were surprised to see Sasuke standing there with his clothes burnt but not harmed per say. But what really left Vegeta and Goku speechless was the golden aura and goldenish hair.

"Pseudo Super Saiyan" Goku said. Sasuke returned back to his base form. "What do you mean?" Sasuke asked unsure of what happened. "You just tapped into a form of Super Saiyan. Which shouldn't be possible unless-" "Unless you are a Saiyan." Vegeta finished. "But I thought I was the only Saiyan on this planet." Naruto said confused. "Hold on lemme check with the big guy upstairs." Goku said. "Hey Supreme Kai I thought you said Naruto was the only Saiyan on this planet." Goku asked. "Yes but it seems that one of the ancestors of the child called Sasuke had married a Saiyan who crash landed on that planet. But his human genes are more dominant so I presume he would only be able to use pseudo Super Saiyan form. And maybe be able to get a Zenkai boost." the Supreme Kai told them. "Wait then what about my big brother?" Sasuke asked.

"Hmm it would seem that his Saiyan genes are completely dormant. "Supreme Kai replied. "Alright thanks for your help." Goku said cutting the connection.

Flashback end

"How about a meal before we leave. I'm starving." Goku said. "Alright. I'm quite hungry myself." Vegeta said.

At Naruto's house

"Hey Vegeta can I want to ask you a question." Naruto said in between bites. "What is it?"said "Well since your father died doesn't that make you King Vegeta and your son and me the Princes of all Saiyans?" Vegeta stopped to think about when the realisation hit him like one of Jiren's punches. "Well I never really thought about it but you are right." Vegeta said. "Ohh look what you did Naruto that will just fuel his ego." Goku whined. "It's not ego it's pride." Naruto and Vegeta said at the same time.

Timeskip (After the meal)

"Well then see ya around." Goku said with his signature smile. Naruto and Sasuke just smiled and waved to their parent figures. "Oh also since Naruto can use Instant Transmission you both can come train with us at anytime." Vegeta said. This just made them smile happily. "Goodbye." Naruto told his uncle as they vanished as if they were never there. "So what do you wanna do. I mean we do have our graduation exam tomorrow." Naruto asked Sasuke. "Yeah but then again we are way above those academy students. I think we should just enjoy this day." "Agreed see ya tomorrow"

The Next Day

Naruto and Sasuke were sitting at the their usual spot doing their best to ignore the fan girls that surrounded them but having half of the class's girls constantly asking you out is not exactly easy to ignore. They were thinking of ways to escape when the doors burst open and tell blurs of blond and pink stopped near their table. "Looks like I win Ino-pig". "You wish. I got here first I get to sit next to Naruto and Sasuke." Ino said. Having had enough of this Naruto stood up got out his seat and went to the banshees and said "You both should shut up before an accident happens which will involve me and Sasuke and you in the hospital for at least 2 years." They gulped and nodded and went to the only seat that was empty beside Shino. And Iruka entered the class.

"All right class you will be called one by one to the examination hall across from this class. First Sakura Haruno" and this went on some as a lot of people passed and few failed until "Naruto Uzumaki" his fan girls kept encouraging him even though he just ignored them. "All right Naruto pls perform the transformation, substitution and the clone justu and any other justu you want for extra points. Naruto nodded and transformed into Vegeta in his blue form. Then he performed the substitution justu using the log kept in the room. And as for the clone he just formed 5 shadow clones. Now the time for a justu of his choice. Naruto just smirked thinking about which one he should and decided on the Galick gun and asked for a dummy to and an open space. He charged his attack and fired it at dummy which was obliterated when that attack hit it. This shocked the chuunin watching over the exam end Naruto smirked and perform his headband and put it around this left bicep.

Next it was Sasuke's turn he did the same as Naruto by using Big Bang attack.

Iruka entered the class after the exams were over and announced that this time there were 2 rookie of the year and kunoichi of the year. And announced Naruto and Sasuke as the rookies of the year and Sakura Haruno as the kunoichi of the year and Kiba as the dead last.

"I am really proud of your progress but the life of a shinobi is hard. So you must train hard to survive. That said you all need to come to the Academy at 8:00 A.M tomorrow to know your teams and your Jonin sensei. Good day to you all." with this Iruka left the classroom.

Naruto was happy with this but someone watching him was quite unhappy. who was it you ask. Well it was Mizuki few of the people of who hated Naruto. he was smiling at the class but was seething inside thinking his plan to steal the Scroll of Seals failed. but he had an idea of making Naruto think that if he stole this scroll he could make Chuunin without giving the exam.

Thinking this he decided to put his plan to action after the Academy was over for the day.
