The Flame Hashira

I am Tanjiro Kamado. Starting from now, I keep a diary.

This is hell.

But I have to endure it. The first day I woke up (at 4:30 am) I had to run 40 miles around the mountains and back. Rengoku sensei was with with me the entire way. How the hell didn't he get tired?! As soon as I got home I had to do body training. This included 50 push-ups, 120 squats and 140 crunches. I was dead inside, I was so tired. After that, I had a bite of lunch, and then the same routine: body training, laps, etc. 

Rengoku sensei is a very energetic guy. Even when I felt my heart would literally burst and I would die, he would keep encouraging me. He is a hashira, the highest rank in the Demon Slayer Corps. What are the Demon Slayer Corps? Well, apparently they are a secret organisation not recognised by the government. Their job is to make sure that demons do not take over humanity. They're the reason that many people go to sleep comfortably. 

Demons. They are creatures of the night, as they burn in the sun. They can only consume human flesh. They have hyper regenrative capabilities. The only way to defeat them is by severing their neck with a special blade. It is called a Nichirin Blade. I will never forgive them, I can not.

Today I have to run with a sword. This is annoying, as it keeps coming in my way. I kept lagging behind, I coudn't run that fast with a weight. I had to come back and swing my sword till my hands caught on fire (seriously....2500...) After then, I had breathing practice with Rengoku sensei.

Rengoku: No! Not like that! keep your hands at the side, and your muscles contracted!

Tanjiro: I'm trying! *screams in agony*

Age check! I'm 11.

Height check! I'm 4"9.

Weight check! I'm 34 kg. (74 pounds)

So far I've managed to improve a lot. Like, a LOT lot. My endurance is 3 times as before, and so is my strength. Just a couple more years and I'll be able to participate in the Final Selection! 

So far I've been able to learn 5 forms of Flame breathing:

1st Form: Unkowing Fire

2st Form: Scorching Rising Sun

3rd Form: Blazing Universe

4th Form: Blooming Flame Undulation

5th Form: Flame Tiger

I'll keep training! I'll keep improving! I will SET MY HEART ABLAZE!

After a few months...

Rengoku: Young Kamado, pack your bags!

Tanjiro: Ehh...why?

Rengoku: We are going to the annual Hashira meeting! It is honorable to bring your Tsugokus (successor) with you!

Tanjiro: I see... 

Rengoku: All the other hashiras will be there!

Tanjiro: *excited* REALLY?

Rengoku: Of course!

Tanjiro: ALRIGHT!
