CHAPTER 8: The History Of Otsutsuki Clan

Previously: Toneri become determined to tell Boruto about the true history of the Otsutsuki clan and so boruto and himself go into separate room in order to tell this story.

Toneri (thinking about himself): I need to tell him everything; otherwise he wont be able to move forward and the choice that he will make will have huge impact on it.

Boruto (looking at toneri in a slightly concerned way): It is alright toneri san, you can tell me everything you know about it.

Toneri (calmed himself): Thank You, Boruto. Now, Before I tell you this story; I have three things need to tell you.

Boruto: What is it??

Toneri: First of all, wear this black band. Since you are karma user, you need to wear this on your right hand so that you order deceive Momoshiki and do not remove it no matter what happens.

Boruto (looking the black band): Okay. Now.

Toneri (with a serious face): The story that I am going to tell has a lie.

Boruto (with struck expression): A LIE. WHAT DO YOU MEAN??

Toneri: The story itself is not flawed. Rather, this is the truth. The only thing you need to tell me is that after this story, What is the lie and the truth??. As well as you need to me why.

Boruto (Anxious): OKAY, I will try.

Toneri (with a smile): ALRIGHT, SHALL WE BEGIN?

                                                                             Toneri POV

I started to tell him the story by showing images of the past: Long ago before the human, clans, shinobi stars, planets existed, there was a concentric circle. That circle did not have a physical manifestation but radiated immeasurable amount of energy itself. The circle created countless planets, stars as well as galaxies. Finally, the circle gave birth to animals, trees, mountains but not humans. Then he created the first two people which had white eyes and white skins and unique clothes and gave them free will. However, there was a problem, the people that were created were both male lacking the proper requirement of procreation. So, the circle created females for them. Satisfied with his creations, he disappeared. The Elder Male and Female  gave Birth to their children which had different horns on their head and had similar features like their parents. The Younger male and female also gave their birth but different skin color, eyes and black hair. The young male and female were horrified. But when they saw the child smile, they first experienced the feeling of emotions. The children of the elders had power beyond the wildest imagination like space time technique, manipulation of life and death, reality warping and gravity; you name it. the children of the young ones inherited great physical strength, life energy, longevity mastering of all five elements but the most dangerous technique they inherited: immunity to the elder children powers. 

The elder children later on came to known the first Main family Otsutsuki clan while the younger one came to known as Branch family and together they created a home known as takamagahara palace: The great paradise. Everything is going well but then came another problem: Death. No matter how powerful they were, Death came on both side. While the younger male and female accepted the death of their children as they knew it is a part of life. The elder one was unable to accept it. A heated argument ensured on both side and it escalated to such an extent that it started a war known as " Takamagahara War" and it ended with the defeat and death of the younger one despite being considered immortal.

Boruto POV

I was listening so patiently that I lost track of time. My eyes were widened and  jaw dropped at the sight of the battle that Toneri was showing to me. Spears, blades, kunais, shields , sealing materials and many more. Not just that, all the jutsus that we shinobis are learning pals in comparisons with there.

Toneri (looking at me seriously): NOW TELL ME, WHAT IS THE LIE IN THE GIST THAT I HAVE SAID??
