" If only I wasn't so caught up in your trap "
_

The day was perfect with the sun shining brightly. It was the first day in weeks that there wasn't a cloud in the sky. For the past fortnight it had been nothing but downpour upon the entire land. I was sick of the rain. The sun had felt warm against my skin.

" Beautiful morning is it not? "

" Yes, very. "

My hand was lifted to his pink lips. " You are radiating today. "

I felt my own lips curve up. "  You flatter me. Shall we take a walk? "

My arm stretched out into an arch and he took it. His face was a cheeky grin. The man leaned in and whispered in my left ear.

" A true gentleman would have asked for your hand. "

In return I leaned into his ear. It was almost mocking. This was almost like a game of catch in mouse between us. Constant teasing, the sneaky glances and the overall scandals.

" We are both aware of how much you aren't very gentle. "

His hands wrapped around my waist roughly and I was whisked up into the air. A giggle escaped my lips as I was spun wistfully into the air. As I was set down my body slowly slid against his own. A feverish gasp escaped my lips and my forehead rested against his.

" Oh James, if only I wasn't so caught up in your trap. " She pressed her lips against his then reeling back. " If only I haven't caught you in mine. "

Then his lips touched mine.

Brynn pulled the covers over her head with a groan. She tucked them around her ears in an attempt to silence the blaring alarm of her cell phone. It didn't work of course. Technology one and Brynn zero.

After getting ready for the day she head downstairs to finished off her morning routine. She would eat the most important meal of the day, breakfast, then she would pack her lunch. The Novak family were vegetarians so packing lunch was a tradition of sorts. Ones done daily every since preschool. Sure the school had a salad bar, but Brynn didn't want to eats salads everyday.

That's what most assumed vegetarians ate. Different version of salads, but there was more than that. Today for instance she was packing a grilled cheese with some spinach and tomato thrown in it. She did have an appreciation for vegetables. It wasn't a lie that vegetables were a huge part in her diet, but the stereotypes bothered her.

" Mom made smoothies. " Hana announced from the kitchen table.

Brynn sniffed the air. It was filled with fresh watermelon. It happened to be her sister's favorite flavor. Brynn decided to put in a request for the next flavor. As she filled in her glass with the pink drink she turned towards her mother.
