Kierans POV

I got dressed for my 3:00 appointment with the lovely therapist Marino Duran and his meddling fucken ass recommend.

I was to drive to a building and go up to the 7th floor, their office would be the last door to the left. I was not accustom to entertaining Dominicos ridiculous fucken ideas, but he had a point and my angel had told me to get help as well.

I had to make a change at this point and my angel would have to be the first thing I mentally fix because she was and is my downfall. If I allow her to continue to consume my mind and body I'll never get anywhere and as much as my pride and I hate to admit Dominico had a fucken point.

I watched as the clock kept ticking as I waiting sitting on the leather sofa inside the very clean and modern office building. The receptionist kept on side eyeing me, she wasn't fooling anyone I knew she was trying to get me to look at her.

I have no interest in her or any woman other than my wife. And not the bitch that is now inhabiting my estate even though she is fucken nicknamed after a reptile.

"Sir, Mrs.Sciocco will see you now." I looked up at the young woman with dark jetblack hair and nodded making my way to the office.

'Mrs. Sciocco? Was it his wife? Or was there no relation between the two? Maybe a common last name here... What a strange fucken coincidence I would have to ask to feed my curiosity.'

Mariano had said "best psychiatrist in the country you won't regret it!" had made me wait an extra 30 minutes not giving me a damn explanation of why my time was being waited here in this office when I could have been drinking at the penthouse.

Damn Dominico just had to open his fucken mouth. I was already regretting this deplorable decision.

I didn't knock on the door considering it was wide ass open. I entered and sat down on the first dark green leather sofa I spotted. The woman was facing away from me typing away at the keyboard not giving me a second glance, or she didn't even realize I was in the room.

I couldn't see her appearance considering she had her back turned to me but there was something familiar about her... I could not quite put my finger on it.

I cleared my throat not wanting to waist anymore of my time. "Ahmm-"

She let out a sound that clearly said I had startled her. She hesitantly turned in her chair and as soon as I saw her face I was dissatisfied to find she had a pare of shades covering her eyes and a ball cap that was pulled down over her face as well.

"What's with the get up?" I didn't hesitate when asking even if my tone was rude or inappropriate.
She had already waisted my damn time and now this shit? Could you blame me if I want a fucken good explanation?

"Hello, You must be Mr.Russo, my patient Mr.Duran informed me of your visit and briefly mentioned the subject of which we would be discussing today... -she didn't look up from a piece of paper she was reading from? I couldn't really tell considering she had those obnoxiously dark shades on.- firstly I'd like to inform you that this will be completely confidential, but if I suspect that you want to bring harm to yourself or others I will have to take precautions and proceed with my default policies, do you understand?"

"Yes, ma'am." Her voice seemed familiar although at the same time it seemed like she was adding an inflection to it. I decided to play nice because her strange behavior had peaked my interest. There was a silence in the room, not quite awkward but not exactly comfortable either. I decided enough was enough I'd get the answer to the questions that my mind was itching to ask.

I leaned forward in the comfort couch my elbows resting comfortably on my knees as I put my head between my hands. I was trying to study her but the stupid getup over her face made it almost impossible. Her hands were fidgety tho, and I could hear the squeak of her knee bouncing behind that desk of hers.

"Are you nervous doctor?" I asked breaking the silence immediately she stopped all of her fidgeting and looked at me, or I assume.

"Not as all Mr.Russo on the contrary where would you like to begin?" Her voice sounded like she just finished getting over a cold, but I knew better she was deliberately altering it. "I have one question doctor Sciocco... because that is your name, is it not?"

"Yes, that is my husbands last name." The word husband sounded fake on her lips I can't explain it, or maybe I'm seeing shit that is not there.

"Hmm, does your husband happen to be Vidalgo Sciocco?" She moved at a snail pace, as if in slow motion she grabbed a pen and paper and began to scribble things.

"Yes he is, do you know him?"

"Ahh yes, I do... he is... an old friend."

"Hmm well I don't mean to be rude, but I am sure you didn't come all this way to speak to me about my person life... what would you like to talk about today Mr.Russo? Anything you are comfortable with of course."

I was silent for a moment, truthfully I wasn't and hadn't thought of any topics to speak about. Frankly I wasn't fond of the idea of spilling my secrets and emotions to a woman I have never met and to add onto it she was purposely obscuring her face and voice.

It gave off a shady vibe and I wasn't sure why the hell Mariano even trusted this woman. She was clearly very eccentric or full of shit.

"Actually, doctor- I put an inflection on the doctor because I wanted her to realize that I didn't trust her- I'd like to know more about you before I go and spill all my personal thoughts, and mafia secrets that's fair is it not?"

She took a breath at my mention of the mafia and then for a moment she contemplated my words. She then tapped her finger against her desk before slowly cracking her knuckles.

"Sure Mr. Russo, anything to make you feel comfortable here."
