We parked in front of our house but didn't her out, knowing that the assassin had probably already been there. Elvis crouched in his seat and scanned the area. I pulled out my phone and opened the dog caller app. I downloaded it a few weeks ago when I bought Titan.

Titan is an Alaskan huskey that some old lady gave me almost a month ago, claiming she could no longer take care of him. I happily took him and trained him to come to the gate to mark that the cost was clear if he heard the app begin playing soft symphony music. He has very good hearing for only a 2 month old.

I smiled and hopped out of the car and headed for the gate when I heard his cute little whines and scratches. Elvis looked confuse so I just smirked evily and opened the gate, letting the little puffball of a puppy run out and introduce himself.

Even though Titan was 2 months old, he was really small. His paws were of course very big though so I had no doubt that we would grow big in size. He had lovely white fur with black stripes coursing through it. His beautiful blue eyes told me that he was probably born an Aquarius. He licked at Elvis's hand eagerly as he held him in his arms and walked towards the now open gate. Elvis's eyes stayed orange as we entered the house and into the kitchen but I didn't have anything to worry about, Titan wouldn't have come to the gate if anyone had been here, or was here right now.

I opened up the frigde and took out the pan of apple cobbler that I had made from the night before and scooped out a slice for Elvis and myself. He finally calmed down after a while and happily ate it. Elvis loved my cooking but he didn't get to enjoy it often since he was always going on jobs, so it was nice to see him relaxing for awhile. I got up from leaning against the counter and went upstairs to my bathroom, glad to feel safe enough to take a shower alone.

* * *

I got out of the shower just as a loud knocking wounded at the door. I quickly towl dried my hair and wrapped another one around my body and went to my room to put some clothes on. My room was one of the 3 master bedrooms in the house but the walls in the bathroom were paper thin. I opened the small door to my closet and pulled out a black bralette and a pair of black spandex shorts. I grabbed my favorite sleeveless sheer skull button up and slipper that on too. I walked over to full length mirror and took a look. It wasn't the most appropriate outfit. The sheer shirt was, well, very see through so you could my boobs trying to escape from my one size too small bralette and the shorts threatened to show my buttocks. I finger combed through my hair and called it good. I turned around and raced down the staircase to see who the intruder was but stopped short when I spotted the Aquarius sitting on our couch in the sitting room with Elvis.

The Aquarius must have heard me because he made direct eye contact with me before raising his glass of red wine and taking a drink. There are definitely benefactors to living in the guest house on a wine property, all the wine you could possibly drink. Its like an alcoholics dream here. Elvis looked up from his book and set it down when he saw me standing on the staircase still. He cleared his throat nervously before talking.

"Er- Rougue! This is a fellow partner of mine, Stjepan. He's one of the assassins looking for you... Um, he claims that he's here to help us stay hidden, claiming that he knows all about your story and believes you. He's not here to hurt anyone."

I looked around and instantly relaxed when I saw Titan curled up in a ball napping next to Elvis's feet, if Titan sees no threat in the dude then he must be serious about helping us. I carefully made my way down the stairs, all the while observing the Aquarius named Stjepan.

He had tanned skin and a nice medium build. His muscles on his arms made his leather jacket tight on him, it was open and he didn't have a shirt on underneathe so it made gave me a wonderful view of his six pack. His black colored eyes seemed to watch my every move like a predator as I came down the stairs, his dark lips were up in a smirk and his jawline looked so sharp that it could cut me. I'll admit it, he was a very attractive person, but so was I and I could tell he thought so by the way he looked at me. I cleared the last two steps on the staircase and walked over Stjepan, my hand ousteetched in greeting. He took my hand carefully and brought it to his lips, leaving a kiss on it that heated up my entire body. This dude was hot, and he knew it.
