Chapter seven: Fellow students?

I couldn't believe I just attacked Stjepan like that, what would he do now? He could easily call up his boss and turn us in. God why was I so stupid, our life is in danger now and its all my fault. We'll have to move again, or worse, Elvis will have to kill Stjepan. I've never seen Elvis kill, but if he's one of the top ten then he must me badass. But Elvis also told me that Stjepan was in the top three, will it be harder to kill him then, broken rib or not?

I sat there on the leather couch in our living room watching Stjepan carefully, he was seated on the big chair next to me, his hands still on his broken ribs. Elvis was in the kitchen on the phone with some kind of doctor asking questions about, well, broken ribs. I watched Stjepan carefully, making sure he's not going to try anything funny. He was shirtless, still in his boxers. I never noticed how nice his body really was until now. He glanced over at me and smirked, I looked away quickly, damn it, he caught me staring again.

He chuckled to himself quietly careful not to move too much. He cleared his throat and looked back over to me, smirk still plastered to his face.

"You really need to work on your talents, what being a wanted criminal and all."

I dared to take a look at him again. He was stating at me with curiosity. He looked at me like i was a plaice of artwork hanging in the wall. I took my phone and checked for any messages, I had one from Lindy.

8:22 a.m.
Hey chica where u at?

I groaned to myself, I'm late for school, great. I replayed to her quickly before Stjepan could look over my shoulder.

8:23 a.m.
I don't think I'm coming today, kinda got into a bit of a mess with Stjepan.

She replied right away to that. I laughed at the text, Lindy always found a way to make me laugh.

8:24 a.m.
A mess?? I knew you would sleep with him!! XD don't let me get your way now, enjoy your new boy toy ;)

I set my phone down when Elvis entered the room, his cell in hand, he looked relieved, that's good at least. Stjepan got up clumsily, strange how he still looked hot all broken and bruised. It actually made him look even more badass.

"Well, the good news is that you should heal just fine, the bad news is that you guys can't go to school today."

I stopped staring at Stjepan then, wait, school? Both of us? I looked at Elvis shocked, there was no way he would make me go to school with him, after I just karate chopped his ribs? There was no way, no way in hell I was going to school with him.

"School? No, no this can not be happening. I can't go to school with him!"

Elvis looked at me sternly, but I refused to look away, I was not going to school with the dude I had the hots for. I could just drop out for fucks sake, I was supposed to be in hiding anyways, why am I going to school if Im wanted?

"You need to go to school Rougue, and Stjepan is 17 so he needs his education just as much as you. You'll both go to school tomorrow if he's feeling any better, end of discussion."

I went to open my mouth to get in the last word, but what was the point. Scorpios were stubborn just like Taurus, Aquarius and Aries. There was no point in arguing. I got up from the couch and started heading towards the staircase when I heard a cracking sound coming from Stjepan. I turned around and saw him stretching his torso. His broken ribs moved under his skin moved back into place, he groaned from the pressure of the movement but continued to stretch. I watched in horror, how the hell was he able to do that? He put his arms back down when the cracking had stopped. He looked at me and laughed loudly when he saw my horrified face.

"I thought you knew about all signs Rougue. What's wrong? Didn't know Aquarius could heal themselves within the hour?"

I shook the horrified look from my face and walked back over to him. I had no idea that Aquarius could heal themselves at all. I knew that picses could heal others but didn't know an Aquarius could heel themselves.

"Only within the hour?" I asked curiously. I wanted to know more about the Aquarius sign, and who better to find out then a professional assassin? He gave me a toot by grin before showing me his hand, I looked at it confused, it looked like a normal hand. But suddenly water spouted like a fountain from the middle of his palm. It didn't go everywhere or anything like that. It just squirted from his hand slowly. He closed his hand and it turned into a little bubble full of water.

He handed me the ball, I cupped my hands around it careful not to drop it. I smiled at it, but then it turned into steam in my hands. I looked at Stjepan shocked, did he do that?

But he didn't, he looked happy that the ball had turned to steam. He grabbed my hands and brought them to his lips.

"There's a lot you don't know about the signs Rougue. For example, you did that. Taurus are always hot, so they can't control water like a Pisces or Aquarius. Now listen carefully, cuase I'm about to tell you some secrets that not even the council know about the Taurus."
