Marina agreed to the date since she was touched by Castiel's gesture. Plus she had been wanting the angel to ask her for awhile. Castiel knew that Marina didn't like fancy places so he took her to a coffee shop.
"Wow you picked out my favorite," Marina said to him.
"I wanted to be sure that I did this correctly," Castiel admitted blushing a bit.

"I wasn't aware an angel could blush," she teased as they walked inside and sat down.
"There are many things about my kind I wish to understand," Castiel answered. "I am different from them but I also wish to understand humans,"
"But you've been on earth for years?" Marina asked in confusion. Castiel had been assisting the Winchesters since long before they met their wives, so she was speechless to hear that he didn't understand humans.

"I have yes and I've formed many relationships, " Castiel explained. "Our friends became my new family and I became a father,"
"I haven't met your children much, how are they doing?" Marina asked. She had purposely changed the topic so he wouldn't accidentally say the wrong thing. He might say that he loved her and while she felt the same way, she couldn't give into her feelings. Besides Castiel was an angel, how would a relationship with him work if she could die at anytime?

"Jack is doing well I've finally started educating him in things like history and Claire is pretty much the same," Castiel answered. As he was talking he could read Marina's thoughts and see her doubts along with her true feelings. He had the chance to mention them but he didn't since he always saw it whenever they talked.
"I think it's sweet that you've done so much for them," Marina said to him. She smiled attempting to make the event more positive, for a brief moment she forgot her intentions from before once the angel grabbed her hand.

"I'm sorry this feels very warm," Castiel said blunty. "I'm not sure why I even did it,"
"Its okay I like it," Marina answered. "But maybe go more like this," she said moving his hand so it was on top of her's. "There now it doesn't look like you're making a fist," Castiel smiled at her words. This was actually pretty nice and he wished that he could experience it again. Before he could say anything a waitress came to their table.
"Let me guess first date?" She asked taking out her notepad as she looked at them.
"How did you know that?" Castiel asked.

"Yes I guess we were pretty obvious," Marina responded laughing a bit. There was just something amusing about watching the angel tilt his head in confusion whenever he didn't understand something.
"Figured what can I get you?" The waitress asked.
"Black coffee and blueberry muffin," Marina answered.
"Yes and what about you sir?" The waitress asked taking extra time with Castiel. Marina tried to ignore the feeling of her skin burning when the lady basically hit on him.

"I don't eat food," Castiel said plainly. "But I do like that drink you have over there," he said pointing to a poster in the window.
"So a passion fruit refresher?" She asked. Castiel nodded and she wrote down the order. When she left Marina couldn't resist the urge to laugh at the scene. "What is so funny?" He asked.
"You saying I don't eat food," she answered. "Oh that just made my day,"
"I'm glad that I could make you laugh," Castiel said to her. "It means you're happy and I want you to be happy,"

The two went on and off between talking and glancing at each other while holding hands. Castiel felt he was taking this too far, as an angel he understood that he wasn't allowed to fall in love. Which is why this was a bad idea, he was going to get them both in trouble if this continued. Castiel just hoped she wouldn't hate him after he said they couldn't do this again. But before he could say anything their drinks were placed in front of them.
"Here you go enjoy," the waitress said with a smile. She walked away and let her eyes glow black behind their backs.

Meg took her wig off as she walked into the kitchen and watched the scene. The demon was determined to show Castiel that only she could be the one to love him. Marina was mortal and one day she would leave Castiel alone. Meg was as eternal as her angel was so she wasn't leaving anytime soon. She had poisoned the drinks she gave out to the couple, and in just a few minutes Marina would be gone, and Castiel would be all hers.
"That was weird," Castiel said as he took a sip.

"What was?" Marina asked.
"That waitress her face was..." He trailed off as he took another sip of his drink. "This tastes funny," the angel began to feel a little sick. Which he was unaware that was possible but something wasn't right.
"Cass?" Marina asked in concern. The angel looked like he was going to pass out and thinking quickly she looked around the shop. Everyone around them was dropping to the floor either dead or asleep. "Demons!" She exclaimed sniffing her drink and smelling poison. Castiel eventually passed out and Marina stood up to help him.

A high pitched shriek came from behind her and Marina found herself locking eyes with Meg.
"No it wasn't supposed to happen like this!" Meg exclaimed. "You were supposed to drink it,"
"Meg I should have realized you were a demon," Marina responded standing her ground. She didn't have weapons on her at the moment, but she did know a way to slow a demon down.

"I wondered why you didn't?" She asked letting her eyes flash black. " I did possess Shela after all," she continued. "Now step aside so I can heal him and kill you,"
"Not going to happen," Marina responded. Meg laughed at her and asked what she was going to do. "This," Marina threw salt from the table into Meg's face. The demon growled in anger and discomfort but Marina wasn't done she began and she took out a blade from her pocket. Meg saw that coming though and pinned her against the wall using her demonic powers.

"Just what I thought not hunter material," Meg mocked and wandered over to Castiel. Marina ordered for the demon to leave him alone but Meg didn't listen and pulled out an angel blade. "You like it?" Meg asked showing it off. "I snagged it off awhile back when I was being hunted by angels," she continued. "Its the only thing that works on them,"
"You talk too much I could easily send you back to hell right now!" Marina threatened.
"I could easily send you back to hell," Meg mocked. "Face it girly I've been brought back from the dead, you can't get rid of me,"

Meg turned Castiel over and used her angel blade to cut his throat.
"No you're going to kill him!" Marina exclaimed.
"Kill him? I would never I'm just taking his grace away," Meg said as a blue strike of light came from Castiel's neck. She placed it in a small bottle that she wore as a necklace. "For all eternity my love," Meg declared giving the angel a kiss. Instantly Castiel woke up and Meg waved at him as if they were friends.
"I told you not to come back," Castiel said sternly.

"But I came to see you," Meg responded. Castiel tried to use his powers to send her away but when he touched her forehead, nothing happened. "Sorry sweetie I have your grace so you can't gank demons,"
"You black eyed bitch!" Marina screamed from the corner. Meg turned back to her and made Marina struggle so more against her chokehold.
"Stop this Meg," Castiel said grabbing her angel blade from her. She wasn't expecting that or for him to cut her on the arm.
"You will see Clarence that being a human is terrible!" She screamed before leaving her host.
