"Ezra sweetie slow down," Marina said once her godson had explained everything. After seeing his unfinished text message she called him thinking something was wrong and Ezra explained his vision. However because of his high pitched tone she couldn't understand what he was saying.
"Aunt Marina whatever you do don't go out there," Ezra responded. "Meg is out there looking for you,"

"I already know I had a run in with her," Marina explained. "But that's the least of my worries right now, Castiel had his grace stolen," Marina heard shuffling on the other end. Meaning Mary was most likely trying to take Ezra's phone to demand answers. "No fighting," she scolded.
"Sorry auntie but what do you mean taken?" Mary asked. Marina sighed heavily and explained what happened. Ezra asked why Meg was so angry with her, and Marina decided not to answer that question.

"Ezra when have these demons needed an explanation for attacking someone?" She asked instead. "Now I know you both are going to try and help but I need to deal with this at the moment,"
"But my vision..." Ezra warned but he was cut off.
"I'll worry about later, first order of business we need to get Castiel's grace back," Marina said. "Have your parents track down Meg, and see if you can find a spell to counter the rapid aging effects,"
"Yes Aunt Marina," they both responded at the same time.

Ezra hung up after that and Marina glanced down at Castiel who had fallen asleep, looking through a lore book. He looked peacefully and it was actually nice to see him that way. Against her better judgments since she didn't like being touched by anyone save for those she was close with. She stood up and gently moved him off the book, since she didn't want him to be uncomfortable.
"I'm gonna figure this out I promise," Marina whispering to him and placing a hand on his shoulder.

All she needed to do was keep him from succumbing to mortality, nothing hard about that. After looking through the same book Castiel had been reading, she discovered that angel grace was like a human soul. It was so powerful that even the horseman Death couldn't destroy it, and as long as the grace glowed bright the angel would live. With all this information Marina tried to avoid falling asleep, she wrote down what she found, pinched herself and began naming the state capitals. All in hopes that she wouldn't fall asleep, but eventually she fall asleep as well and dropped the lore book on the floor.

"Castiel what's with the formal outfit?" Marina asked once she saw the angel walk through the door. Instead of his usual trenchcoat covering up a business suit, he was dressed in a light blue buttoned shirt and black dress pants.
"Do I need a reason to look nice for you?" He asked holding her close. The contact should have surprised her but it didn't, especially when she saw the ring on her finger. It was beautiful, and unlike any ring you would find in a jewelry store. Since Castiel had created the ring himself with his grace.

"No of course not," she answered giving him a firm kiss on the lips. A couple of giggles were heard from behind them, and Marina guessed that Jack and Claire were attempting to watch them. "Sounds like we have an audience," she said turning around. Sure enough the two were behind her but something was wrong, infact this whole thing seemed wrong. Claire and Jack were little kids, she was married to Cass, everything was so good that it just couldn't be real.

"Hello mortal?" A voice asked. Marina recognized it as Meg and she sighed in disappointment.
"I'm dreaming aren't I?" Marina asked not looking back at the demon.
"Of course, I gotta say you have fine taste," Meg commented referring to the ring on her finger. "A golden ring with rubies and diamond, pretty but I hate it," she growled. "Clarence loved me first,"
"Really since when?" Marina asked turning around. "Because I'm pretty sure that he's moved on,"

Meg snarled through her teeth and was tempted to attack Marina, but couldn't since she was inside of Marina's dreams. "Touched a nerve didn't I?" Marina asked crossing her arms. "I don't know how you got into my head but I'm not going to rest until I get Cass's grace back,"
"You will have to find me to do that," Meg responded. The demon grabbed Marina by the shoulder and pulled her close so that her words could be heard. "From now on you and I are at war, you will lose everything and Castiel will be mine," she declared. "That is both a threat and a promise,"

"We will see about that," Marina responded pushing Meg away from her. "Because I know for a fact that you demons are weak against holy water," she continued and smirked a bit. "And since this is my dream," with just one thought a bucket of holy water was dumped onto the demon. Meg screamed and was forced to leave Marina's head to save herself. "Yeah you better run,"

Marina woke up on the couch after that, not because of her words but by the sound of coughing. Sure enough Castiel was awake and was coughing into a napkin. She stood up to see what was going on and saw the blood.
"That is unfortunate and unexpected this didn't happen before," Castiel said in confusion once his coughing stopped.
"Cass you need help," Marina said to in a concerned voice.
"I don't think anything can help me completely unless I get my grace back," Castiel responded.

"Then we have to find Meg and get it back," Marina responded taking his hand. Castiel welcomed the gesture since he liked the feeling it gave him, even if he didn't understand it.
"How going out there could get you killed, and I won't be able to save you," Castiel said hanging his head. Consumed by her fear of losing him and her desires from her dream, she made her move and gave him a kiss on the lips.

He was surprised but he gladly returned it since he had been wanting to do that for a long time. "Marry me," he said once she pulled away.
"What?" Marina asked laughing. Castiel turned red at realizing what he said.
"I said they're scaring me," Castiel responded. Marina teased him a bit by saying that wasn't what she heard but caved and let it be for now.
"We have to fix this, fix you," Marina said. "Meg has your grace and we need to get it back,"
