Introduction

Authors note: this story is a prelude to a proper fanfiction I'm writing called THE HEDGEHOG REBEL

Darkness is all our heroes see before they awaken in a daze, instantly jumping away from each other in a panic, A young girl wearing a wolf pelt and wielding a giant stinger on a stick gets ready to defend herself from her unwilling fellow inhabitants, a girl near her age with pink hair and skin, a boy also around her age, and a bug mute who's currently a helpless baby. Before anyone can say anything a voice calls out "You might not wanna do anything yet." Which causes them to look up at the strange balcony above them.

A single red tailed fox mute clad in a green hoody,ripped jeans, and red sneakers with white stripes across the tops sits in a chair on the balcony above them, smiling as he says "Good, you can hear me." Not even waiting before saying "I know you're probably super confused but don't worry, I can explain."
The wolf pelt girl without giving him a chance to speak demands to know why she's in some swanky mansion to which the kit holds up a glowing green gem and says "Chaos control" and with a flash of green light everyone is sitting on a couch. The kit finally gets to explain and says "Two realities are about to collide, time is rewinding and things are going crazy. I was hoping to grab the versions of you who knew each other longer than a few days but this will do."

the pink girl says "What?" As a response which leads to questions being asked far faster than they can be answered, causing the kit to say "Look, our universe is merging with another and time is getting weird. I wanted to show you the other universe before things reset and you don't remember our old one, deal?" And doesn't even wait to get an answer before using the gem to warp in a giant screen and saying "Cool, thanks, let's do this." As it turns on
