(Ruby is a stutterer)
"What in the hippo cowgirl suit are you wearing?" Sasha said, raising her lip in disgust. Ruby rolled her eyes. Taking a seat in the Brunette's car who had the most mortified expression she had ever seen on her face. " I told you we were going to a damned party and might I say a party hosted by -the Ackermans! And you decided to come dressed as a man?"

Ruby bit her lip.

"I normally wear stuff like this... and...Well I- I didn't even wanna come! Technically... You forced me.'' Ruby said. Sasha started the car looking even more irritated than before. How the hell was she supposed to...gosh. She needed a new plan and a new one quickly.

"Even if I did, the least you could do is dress up"

"Why do I even need to dress up?... Are y-you trying to fix me with some random guy?" Ruby said.

"How could I possibly do that when you've dressed like one yourself? I suppose I'll have to find a gay man?" It was Ruby's turn to raise her lip. Sure her friend was right. She was a tall, bony, dark skin woman who undoubtedly was often mistaken as a man. Maybe it was the way she wore her baggy jeans loosely around her hips or her baggy shirts with rap artists printed on them. However she didn't mind much, she enjoyed boyish fashion and hardly had any curves to say otherwise. She was flat as a stick.

Everything about this party seemed off to Ruby. How did her friend even get invited to a party thrown by the Ackermans'? What relationship did Sasha have with them?

As far as Ruby knew, The Ackermans' were billionaires but how'd they even get all that money? They had to be doing something illegal like scamming, dealing drugs, or who knows what.

One thing was clear, she was certain she did not want to go to this party.

And to add to her luck, they were pulling into the large mansion just at that instance. Boy-oh golly- it was a mansion, mansion. Huge as a hotel accompanied with glossy windows and arches only a fine carpenter could craft. But the gloom that hung to it under the dark midnight sky scared Ruby.

"S-Sasha is there s-something I should know about this party?" Ruby asked. Sasha pulled a potato from a pocket in her rosebud blue dress and took a bite. Ruby knew she often did this when he was lying.

Instead of answering, Sasha grinned forcing a smile.

"Forget about that, let's just have a good time Ruby! Let loose." Then she stepped out of the car pulling a tired-looking Ruby with her. It was going to be one hell of a night.

After waiting through the large line of people, Ruby found herself amidst a crowd of insanity. She cringed at the sight of people thrown over each other in an animalistic matter as though they could not let go. The rhythmic bouncing of the music echoed through her head. Ruby felt out of place; she wanted to leave.

"Sasha this is i-insane," Ruby muttered but Sasha's thoughts were far away from her, staring at the front of the party where the host sat.

Ruby knew something was wrong. Of all their years of being friends, Sasha was a bubbly kind girl that wanted nothing but the best for her. But instead, she seemed tense, pressing a fake smile.

Across the room sat the bored host of the party; Levi Ackerman. He was sipping away at a glass of blood; tired of his never-ending boredom. Parties always excited him whether it was the blood type, drinks, or steamy activities. But frankly, every single woman or bead of blood was disgusting nowadays. He could no longer get a wave of high from any drink either.
