Chapter 13

Ruby yawned but quickly flinched as a sharp pain pounded in her head. She groaned, unable to move, what in the hell happened? She stretched her hair, managing to open her eyes. Where was she?
She was on a large bed with a black comforter...the walls were white...so was the floor...and there was not a bit of character to the room. Damn did she get kidnapped?

The last thing she could remember was the fight with Levi...then her and Eren going to a bar-A Bar! She couldn't remember a damn thing. Gosh...She was an idiot. Did she get drunk? Did someone take her to their house...is she missing?

"Ouch!" She hissed as another throbbing pain shot up a nerve in her skull. She took a big breath. Maybe nothing happened...she was probably at Eren's house, right? Unsure of herself, she pulled the covers off herself-her clothes were changed. Bloody hell! Was she still innocent?

She jumped up, standing right in the bed instantly regretting it. She had to leave, she was in some rando person's house, who changed her clothes...what if she was locked in this room?

She heard a click of foodsteeps and without thinking she picked up a lamp on the bedtsand next to her. There was no way she'd let herself die. Still, her breathing was ragged as she watched the door creak open; she held back a scream.

"What exactly do you think you're doing, standing on my bed like that?" Levi hissed. He crossed his arms tapping his foot impatiently. He was dressed in a white button up and right black jeans.

Ruby fell backwards suddenly feeling how ridiculous she looked...why was she back at Levi's house? What happened last night...Why did he look angry as sizzling concrete?

"U-ugh...did w-we um..." Ruby's face flushed, not knowing how to word it. "You know...?"Levi sighed. Was she saying she forgot one of the most miserable nights of his life? Because of her he had to stay up finishing work. He pinched the space between his eyebrows.

"Are you trying to say you forgot?" Ruby mouth dropped. There was no way...no way! Her..and Levi...did that...and she didn't remember?

"Uh..w-would...it would kill you if I s-said...yeah?"She whispered. Levi snickered, before walking towards her. He had enough of her games...this constant tug of war...was it blood...was it lust...was it love? He for sure didn't know. He just knew she drove him crazy, so crazy he was willing to go to a germ infested pig bar. "W-wait, calm down...If i d-did something bad...I'm sorry...j-just d-don't kill me, okay?" Levi stopped next to her bed side glaring daggers. "We can resolve this with w-words...okay?"
Levi leaned in, stopping an inch from her face. She leaned back a bit in response not knowing what she did wrong.

"You went to a bar and got wasted with a bunch of thirsty men, dancing like a damned lunatic. And then when I went to pick you up you're sorry self , you fought me and flirted," He leaned a bit closer. "Then you tried to kiss me and when I refused you, you bit your finger like a child and had the guts to say, bite me." Ruby bit her lip. "And as if that wasn't enough, to make me lose it, you hurl your insides out in my car." He grabbed her chin. "Does any of that ring a bell, Ruby?" She wanted to curl into a ball and die but she was held in that moment by his slender fingers and sharp gray eyes. Yeah...she messed up...really bad...but...

She grabbed his wrist hesitantly.

"W-why'd...you e-even bother with picking me up a-anyways...unless...you care, don't you?"

"No-" Levi glanced away momentarily. "That isn't it."

"You care about me."

"No, I don't," he said sharply . She leaned in.
