"W-what was that?" She stuttered. He pursed his lips.

"What? Your don't do's list?"

"You k-know what I'm talking about!" He shrugged.

"It's not like you wanted me to stop, otherwise you would have pushed me away." He said that in her dream...he was insane...or maybe she was? Why didn't she push that handsome bastard away?

"But... w-why did you d-do that?" He stood up from the bed, fixing his shirt. He was dressed rather lazily, in a black tee shirt and sweats.

"Just cuz."

"Just cuz doens't a-answer my question." He sighed. His tired droopy eyes looked down on her.

"I thought you died...The doctors told me to take you off of life support because you lost too much blood...My father suggested to...you know? Let you die, drink whatever's left...Ignoring him I brought to my apartment not really expecting anything...and I don't know... I guess I missed my stuttering brat." Ruby glanced away...that was a lot to take in...Why would he save someone he considered as food? She looked back at him crossly.

"W-well then you s-should have hugged me...don't k-kiss me. Like I said before...we both know you did all of that so you can have unlimited access to my blood."

He rolled his eyes again; he did that a lot.

"Sure..." He turned to leave. "I'll notify Armin and Eren that you woke up. Those obnoxious idiots have been bugging me about you...Anyway, I'll be filing paperwork so call me-" She grabbed his hand. What had possessed her? She should feel bad for him or care that his dark circles looked way worse than normal...but she did...like an idiot.

Levi turned back, his eyebrows furrowed, a confused frown displayed.

"You should-uh...sleep. You look like you need it..." An unmistakable smile played on his lips.

"And where do you want me to sleep exactly? You know, just in case you were inviting me to sleep on the dirty floor," her other hand wavered before she patted the spot next to her on the king sized mattress. "You sure? I might pounce on you."

"Nevermind then, forget it" Ruby said. She let go of his slender hand before he chuckled again.

"I'm joking." She raised a snarky brow. "Okay...half joking." A laugh left her lips at the familiar joke.

"You're not funny you know." She said, He turned off the night lamp next to her, leaving them in darkness. Stars blurred at the corners of her vision before her eyes could adjust to the harsh blackness of the room.

"I think...I can be a bit comical from time to time." His voice came from the opposite side of the bed, before his body dipped into the mattress.

"Stay on your side." She said, pulling the covers tightly around her.

"I would but you're practically hogging the covers. Do you intend for me to freeze to death?" He tugged at them but Ruby held her ground.

"Yeah, f-freeze to death." A few moments passed of silence before she relaxed her grip. Levi slipped into the covers unnoticed, hugging her waist. His head rested on her stomach. "Let me go!"

"I don't want to." He said. She smacked his hands a couple times but his grip didn't lossen. His skin felt cold as ice. He smelled like a mix of mint and irish spring soap. This soft side of his made her feel fuzzy.

"Levi I c-can't sleep like this." She muttered. Her heart was hammering in her chest against her will and she was sure he could hear it. He didn't move nor make a sound; had he really fallen asleep? She flicked his forehead with her index finger and he hissed.

"Do that again and I'll bite you." She grinned. Don't do it, a voice said in her head. Well...yolo...she did it again anyway. Without warning, He bit her stomach through her clothes lightly. She jumped at the sudden contact of sharp teeth.

"Prick."

"I warned you. Stop moving and let me sleep." She sighed. Letting her body go limp. How did he expect her to go to sleep after waking up from a coma?

She let her hands fiddle with his hair. Each loc was soft as they brushed against her finger tips.

Was he going to make her dress up like a girl now? She didn't really feel comfortable doing that....Well actually, Levi didn't seem to care that she was a girl or that she lied to him...How odd.

She sighed again, he had a really cute smile...dangerously so.

Ruby didn't sleep, she watched him, the ceiling, and thought about what could possibly going through this short man's head.
