Ruby was getting way too used to passing out, how many times had this happened now?

"You're finally up?" Levi said. She opened her eyes to see him hovering over her. He was shirtless, his pale skin glowed under the dark lit room. His eyes were dilated, his face flushed.

"W-what are you doing?" She yelped, trying to push him off. He , leaning to her ear.

"It's not like you want me to stop, right?" he whispered. He kissed her nape, her skin itched in response. Heat burned in her cheeks, her head going hot and dizzy. What was going on? "Now lay there and be a good girl, okay?"
...

"Ahh!" Ruby screamed falling out of the bed. She breathed heavily. She rubbed her neck. 'O-ouch that hurt." She mumbled. She sighed it was just a dream. Great. Now she's dreaming about him?

The door creaked, before a slam up footsteps followed.

"Ruby?" Levi said. Man, this was awkward. His eyes had dark circles rimmed under them, his face was pale, and his pupils were blood-shot."You actually woke up?"

Ruby stood up stretching her neck.

"Yeah?" She laughed. Levi was acting weird, like he'd seen a ghost. "W-why are you l-looking at me l-like that?" She cringed, it was odd seeing any sense of emotion on his face. Sitting back on the bed, she crossed her arms and legs. She hadn't forgotten how bipolar he'd been...he refused to kill her even after finding out she was a girl. So she came to one conclusion. He was simply obsessed with her blood; he didn't give a damn about her. "I-I'm still mad at you."

He rolled his eyes, running a hand over his face. She tucked her chin away from him.

"I don't see why you are, you ungrateful twat." He inwardly groaned, that wasn't exactly what he wanted to say. "I've provided you with a place to stay, while you were in coma I had doctors take care of you, and you didn't pay a dime."

Ruby nodded...He was right but why would he do all those things for a tool? Why would he care about her well being?

"I w-was...in a coma?" She muttered. That made a lot of sense, her body was restless like she hadn't moved a bone in ages. "It's your f-fault I'm here anyways... if you didn't kidnap me, you w-wouldn't have to bother with me."

Levi eyebrows knitted together, he mimicked her, crossing his arms, and stepping to her side of the bed.

"I did not kidnap you," He spoke slowly. "You were given to me-"

"Like a tool? Right?" She mumbled. Levi clicked his jaw. He stayed quiet for a while, working and reworking what he planned to say. When he did open his mouth, Ruby did too. "H-how long have I been out?" His steely gray eyes glanced away from her.

"Four months." Ruby's eyebrows raised. She wanted to ask if he was joking, but his sullen expression didn't show any hints of a smile.

"Four months?"She repeated as if saying it outloud would change anything.

"Yeah."

"Did anyone...look for me...or ask about me?" He clicked his tongue.

"Armin and Eren checked on you from time to time." He paused, scratching his head. "So did Lamb..."He spat."Other than that...there's been no one else."

She clutched the covers around her, throwing her head back into the pillows, She sighed. She should feel worse...but she didn't. She felt a bit calm. "Great no one at my college seems to care that I disappeared." She muttered.

Propping herself up on her elbows she glared at Levi, who looked tired as ever.

"You're a-annoying. O-one second you hate me, the next you don't. You're a b-bipolar twat." She mimicked him . He cocked a brow. "I- I don't understand you. D-don't be nice to me if i'm just your tool, you bastard."

His eyes clouded briefly before he took a seat next to her, crossing his legs. He chuckled.

"So you'd rather me be a fulltime bastard than be nice to you at all?" He said darkly.

"Y-yes. And don't kiss me or anything extra. You like my blood, not me." There was an amused spark in his eyes; he smiled. And gawd. Why the hell did he actually look good? Despite the dark circles and pale skin...he was handsome.

Ruby looked away, her face hot with embarrassment; she shouldn't be thinking that way about him of all people. She was surprised he'd let her talk so long without snapping.

"Any more don't do's?"He said. Ruby tried her best to glare at him...but could only muster a pout under the sharp gaze of those black pools.

"Don't...touch my neck, or use your pheromones, or call me names-" She was cut off by his lips. A soft fluffy kiss she'd never expected to receive from Levi. His lips moved slowly against hers; she was stunned. Like someone took a giant sign labeled, "loading," and stuck it on her forehead

His lips were warm, and had a sweet feel against hers; like they were trying to tell some meaning behind the kiss.

Levi pulled back when he didn't get a response from her. Ruby stared at him wide eyed

"Close your mouth, idiot. You'll let flies in." She scrunched her nose, doing so. "Now what were you saying again?...something along the lines of don't call names?" She was so flustered, she could do nothing but stare.
