Fanfiction info

Heyo! I JUST posted chapter 1 but I thought about more info and I didn't want to edit chapter 1. This is about the fanfiction world in anime!

I myself have been into fanfiction and I want to share info about it.

Fanfiction is when a story from an anime, manga, real life, games, etc is made by a fan. They are AU's which means Alternate Universe that are written by people who share their ideas to people. I myself made a fanfiction the fanfiction is from the manga that was madr into an anime called "Hunter x Hunter" I made an alternate Universe where it is the next generation of it and I included myself in it.

Fanfictions have terms like:
Y/N, M/N, F/F, H/C, E/C, and etc. Y/N means "Your name" where authors use to show that they want to include you into the story. There are stories like "(insert anime) x reader/Y/N".Y/N is usually a girl.

M/N is used for 2 things because recently I saw another definition of it in a story. It is for Male reader "Male name" and as I said sometimes "Mother's name." There is "Father's name" as well.

F/F is favourite food, H/C is Hair color, E/C is eye color, V/N is villain name, etc.

Fandom:
A word used to describe a group of fans in a specific anime/manga, or sometimes it is in kpop groups. I apologize but I may not know any info in Kpop becaude I am not interested.

Fanon:
It is the term used to say that it is not canon and it is accepted widely only by fans. But sometimes Fanon can makr it to Canon.

Canon:
It is where it is official in the story and it is confirmed by the author. Example: Canon ship where two characters are meant to be together even in the author's point of view.

Ship:
I am not reffering to the boat "ship". I am reffering to the term used everywhere, books, movies, anime, manga, games and real life. It is when two characters even, ALOT of characters are being desired to be in a relationship by the fans or people up close or out of screen, basically us.

Love triangle:
Love triangle is where three people are involved in a ship. Example: Person A is in love with Person B who is in love with Perso  C who is in love with Person A.

Love square:
I don't have many knowledge about this vut I know an example which is a show that was originally an anine but turned into a tv series. It is called "Miraculous Ladybug" My sister is the one who knows this but let me explain.
Characters in this love square is Marinette, Ladybug, Chat Noir, and Adrien. Marinette is the superhero Ladybug and Adrien is Chat Noir, or Cat Noir. Marinette is inlove with Adrien and Adrien is inlove with Ladybug.

Note that some people are not okay with fanfictions as other people consider it as sinful but in my opinion, it is not sinful unless you are exposing yourself to fanfiction that God is not okay with. To avoid that kind of thing, I suggest you follow the age rating that is given. I know sometimes I read way past my age but it is always approved by my parents and older siblings. If you are shy, maybe just read where you think you are mature enough.

Some people may not like fanfiction but not all fans are toxic at making them. Especially for the my hero academia fandom but don't let that stop you from liking it because all anime fans will support you all the way! Including me c:
