Heyo! Chapter 3 is here. I have more things I think that you might need to know because these are constantly used in fanfiction.
A/N
It means "Author's note." It is used when the author has something to say in the story. It is mostly important so make sure to read it before continuing.Oneshot
It is when a story only has one chapter to share. It is short and not cut into parts so when you see the title having the word "oneshot" it means that it night leave you hanging xd.IC
Means that the characters being used will be in character, meaning that they probably did their best to make them so canon-like. Look out for those.OC
It means "Original Character". The author has made a character for the story or it has been their character fit into the sotry. Example when I made my fanfic.Fanfic
It is actually short fot Fanfiction. It is found in titles of the books here in Wattpad. I have nothing else to say because most of you have already known that.OOC
Out of character is the meaning. It is when the character being used is not meant to act canonally.POV
it means Point of View. It is when the a specific character becomes the narrator/main character, in some way.Lemon
(Warning on this one, don't worry, I'll censor)
Lemon is when a story has (mature content) included. Some may understand what I said, some don't. It's up to you to explain if you want, if you may, please add a warning for mature content.Crossover
it is when a story has come across another story and creates a new one. Example is the new movie that has come out. Spiderman No way home. I know that most people know of it because the popularity of the movie is the same as Avengers Endgame, as a friend said.Crackfic
It is used to describe fanfics that are absurd in their own way and sometimes called crazy. It has so much humor because the author most likely made it so they could let out their wacky feelings. (Know that this isn't meant to offend anyone)Fluff
It is when the story has a light-hearted feeling. It is usually in romance moments where the characters are being sweet.Angst
It is when the story has a depressing and heavy feeling when it is being read.
Feeling death, pain, relationship break-ups.H/C or Comfortfic
It is a fanfiction with a story that id usually where the reader is interactiong with the character in the story. They are meant to comfort the reader. H/C means Hurt/Comfort.Songfic
It is when a song us being used as the theme of the story. The author takes the lyrics and sometimes uses it as the script of the story because the story would be inspired by the song.Questions in fanfiction I think in my opinion, wrong. (Not meant to offend)
Is fanfiction Illegal?
I personally think that creating fanfiction ISN'T illegal. Creating fanfiction by the story made is most likely already thought by the author. The novels I made in my youtube account, I already think of the possibilities, not that I think someone would do that to my novels but that I think they have already thought that, maybe if they really don't like it, they can say that personally but the stories we've made are not rejected, right? If you are curious:
