Japansese Honorifics

Hello there! I am back at it and I will be showing you Japanese honorifics. It might not be accurate so maybe if you want to use them, you can search. I JUST learned Japanese being here so I researched more from the internet.

San
It is used when it's a person you are not really close with. It is one of the most commonly used and closely resembles, "madam/sir".

Chan
This honorific is used to young women you are close with. It is also used for babies, children, animals you are fond of and grandmothers.

Kun
It is considered masculine. It is mostly used for people superior and towards people with a high status. It is used for young men, younger brothers but it is a little unpolite. It is sometimes even used for young women.

Sama
This is the most formal and very special. It refers to a deity level and used in "kami-sama" meaning, "God".
It is also used in the japanese word for customer because "okakyusama" is being served.

What to do

Use honorifics for sign of respect.

Attach to honorific at the end of the word/name.

Depend the honorfic for the person's age, status, trust, and gender.

What NOT to do

Use honorific for yourself.

Use honorific that shows trust at someone you just

Maybe just avoid using an honorific without knowing fully what it means.
