"(Y/N)?" Newt says timidly. He's stopped and you've stopped with him. "Yes?" You answer turning to look at him. But he's not looking at you. To him, his feet seem incredibly interesting. He takes a deep breath and you step closer to him. You're inches from each other, but you don't care if its too close as he doesn't seem to notice. "Okpleasedon'thatemeoranythingbuti'minlovewithyou" he blurts out. You've only caught a few words like 'don't' 'love' and 'hate' which makes you're heart drop because you think he said he didn't love you or something along those lines. "What?" You demand, but a hurt look is on your face. He looks up at you, ready to repeat what he said, when he sees the look on your face. Then a confused look comes over his face stopping words from coming out his mouth.

💕Newt's POV💕

My feet seem very interesting at the moment. I decide just to come out with it. After taking a deep breath she steps closer to me, making me more nervous than I already am. "Okpleasedon'thatemeoranythingbutI'minlovewithyou" I hope she got that because I think I might've said it too fast. "What?" She exclaims. I look up, wanting to say it again. Until I see a hurt look on her face. I'm confused. That's not the reaction you want when you tell someone you love them. God, what've I done. But I have to make sure she heard. "I'm in love with you, (Y/N). And I love you. I had to tell you." I expect a slap and for her to run off but instead her face brightens. In a rush her arms wrap around my neck and she kisses me hard. I'm startled for a second, then I start kissing her back.

No. He said he loved you. Not that he didn't. Taken by a sudden confidence, you kiss him. Hard. He's startled but then kisses you back. His hands find their way to you're waist. He takes control of the kiss and you let him. How either of you even know how to kiss is a mystery. Then his tongue fights for entrance to your mouth and you let it in without hesitation. You've wanted this for a long time, but never knew he did too. You both have to pull away, breathless. But you're foreheads stay pressed against the other. In between breaths you manage to get out the words "I...Love...You..Too" He smiles. You smile back before he pulls you in to another kiss.
