Valentine's day Special!

It's been about a year since newt confessed his love for you. You had started dating straight after. And now it was valentines day. Or so you were told by the creators who, sent up a note everytime its a holiday. Since you couldn't buy each other presents you decided just to spend loads of time with him alone. You got up and went looking for him, knowing you both had the day off. But you couldn't find him. You hardly even had time to look for him, because alby kept getting you to do stuff and chuck was always needing help. Then it was dark and you hadn't spent a single moment of valentines day with newt. At last, everyone stopped asking you to do things for them and you could find him. You went to your room to see if he was there as he now spent most nights next to you. However, when you got there you did not find him, but a trail of red petals. Curious, you followed them. They led you to the deadheads. They circled a tree and when you looked at it, the words 'Where you knew I loved you. Keep following' were carved into it. You then realised it was the spot where you and newt said the three little words that changed everything. Smiling, you continued to follow the petals. You came to a clearing with a blanket lay surrounded by candles. And standing next to it was the face you had been longing to see all day. Newt with a huge beaming smile plastered across his face.'Oh newt' you said, taken back. He came over to you and you went to kiss him. But he turned his head and pulled you too the blanket instead, teasing. Once you were both sat down he reached for something from under the blanket. 

"Here, I made you a gift. Its not very good but still" he says passing you a wooden rose as no real ones grew in the glade.

"It's gorgeous!" You exclaim. You put it down and wrap your arms around his neck. He puts a hand on the back of your head and draws you into a slow long kiss. You spend the rest of the night talking, star gazing, kissing. You might've had to wait all day for him, with everyone keeping you away on purpose. But it was worth it.

Little authors note here, since this come up in comments constantly, the red petals are not infact rose petals! They are just generic red petals or hell maybe he even found a way to dye petals and make them red! But they are not rose petals!! Thank you so much everyone for reading! Much love xx
