he wants to be a good friend to mingyu, he talked about this all the time, he always said how he wanted to try acting in any given opportunities, plus being the main lead with tzuyu? this is a dream.

his career is in stake, tzuyu's career is in stake.
while exiting the conference room, he received a text from mingyu which is labeled as kim tallyu
kim tallyu
kim tallyu: jungkook, can we talk? meet me up halfway.
jungkook wanted to decline politely as obviously, 2 weeks is limited. he needs time, but what if mingyu already discovered that he and tzuyu was at stake? is this the talk about? so instead of declining, he asked.

he was shocked after receiving such a cold message from his bestfriend he already knows that this means trouble, but .. what kind?
he borrowed his managers car to meet up with mingyu, he saw him looking at his watch, when mingyu spotted him, they didn't do their usual handshake and that bothered jungkook,
'is he supposedly mad at me right now?'

"you're a friend of mine, and i hate saying this."
"i saw the pictures that you and tzuyu from dispatch, and it seemed like, you both were really close to one another, and i'm worried that i might have you as an- .. i'm sorry. but i really like tzuyu, and i'm genuine about it-"
jungkook cut him off by saying,
"don't worry mingyu, you loved her first and i only looked at her as like.. my friend"
"oh great then, it was just a test to see if you actually like her, because goddamn, i'm madly in-love with her, in fact i've been courting her for the past 2 and a half years. and our friendship will really be in ruins when-"
"i'm quite busy for today, but i wish you goodluck mingyu" not waiting for an answer, jungkook flee from the guilt that he was feeling,
why was he feeling guilty?
it is about thinking what mingyu said to him, was like, having a knife shoved in up your throat, having your bestfriend like your dream girl, seems to hurt more than ever huh?
zoning out everytime in his practice, wasn't jungkook-like, so his friends had to jump in, and let jungkook open-up to his true feelings, he admitted that in the short-time period
he already felt a connection to tzuyu,
"will my stand-by heart will ever be complete?"
