'time will tell, just wait'

jungkook felt it again, his happiness. what happens whenever you fall in-love? ask the guy who's smile is reaching in his ears.

his hyungs asked him, what happened exactly word-for-word when he got home but he wouldn't even give a hint. aaah~ his smile just keeps growing!

damn it.

he forgot.

yeri.

he needs to talk to her, and make things clear with her.

but how? he has solo activities, group schedules, and even modeling. come to think of it, how will he even shoot for tzuyu and his drama?

"ah shit" he slowly mumbled as he curse under his breath, how will he keep up with these schedules when he also has his own personal life?

maybe he'll do this tonight, yes. he'll call yeri now and meet up somewhere private, oh and this better not get any misunderstandings from other people, because he and her are done. this is just making things clear. his schedules are tough, let alone his own problems.

he stood up taking out his phone and laid back down again, the dim light coming out from his phone and his dark room complements his features.

there we go.

after all these years he still has her number saved, not because he's still in-love with her, but because he just forgot. yeah. he forgot.

jungkook sighed seeing her nickname, (사랑) translates to love.

he should've done this earlier. hopefully tzuyu wouldn't know about this.

jungkook typed a short sentence before closing his phone not wanting to see if it was delivered or sent. he just didn't want to feel his relapse again.

a couple minutes his phone dinged, jungkook took a peak before seeing that it was yeri, replying to his message.

'hi yeri, are you free rn? i need to talk to u abt something important.'

'where would we meet up?'

jungkook knew she wouldn't question him, it seemed like they were over at the same chapter, but in different pages. he bit his lip before typing again, 'do u still live at your old apartment?'

'i do.'

'i'll pick u up, we'll just be talking in my car if that's fine.'

'alright, seeu'

jungkook nodded as he put down his phone, he stood up, went to his bathroom and washed his face, and looked straight on his mirror,

his mind full, thoughts running, this is fine. everythings fine and are under controlled. you're just meeting up with someone you haven't talk to for a very long time. history is history. you learned from it and there's no point of trying to fix it back when it's the past.

he sighed for the nth time and finally picked his clothes out, he went for a simple all-plain black outfit he doesn't want to be seen with her and cause ruckus nor dating rumors.

jungkook checked at the time 9:34 PM, it's night, hopefully sasaengs aren't present in this time-round.

he took his keys and exited his room, leaving their dorm was easy, namjoon only questioned him but to be honest, it's easy to lie.

he took his car and drove, he wanted to tell his manager he was running some errands but he forgot that his manager knew his schedule, so he lied about that as well and said, "i'm just gonna buy some snacks."

and with that he exited not leaving any traces.

this'll be quick, plus. it won't take long.

...

jungkook finally arrived at her apartment and parked, he was expecting her to come down as his text said, "let's talk in my car," but yeri never came down, he wanted to text her now when it suddenly poured water, rain.

jungkook checked his phone seeing yeri chatted him a minute ago.

'mianhae! i forgot, u can come in to my apartment, i already talked to the guards ^^.'

jungkook sighed with the fewest options, he can't reschedule this, what are the coincidences that he and yeri are free again? plus it's already raining. fine.

jungkook ran to the entrance a few rain drops poured on him as he didn't have an umbrella, he suddenly got deja-vu about the place. old memories huh?

"hey."

yeri spoke as they were already over her apartment from the 6th floor, "why did you suddenly want to meet?" she asked pouring hot water to his mug.

"were you busy?" jungkook asked before looking around, her place didn't change, it was still cozy as ever. "no, just a couple schedules."

he nodded at that, "don't you want to take off your shirt?"

jungkook choked on the hot water as yeri slightly chuckled, "well, it's soaking wet, i still have your old clothes if you want to change."

"no i'm fine. thank you though." yeri nodded and sat down with jungkook, "how's life?"

jungkook smiled and placed down his mug again, "doing better, how about you?"

"ah, i don't know, fine i guess."

jungkook nodded, "something wrong?" he felt her tense but she eased it with a smile, "why did you suddenly want to talk?" yeri said while sipping to her drink,

"what are we?" jungkook asked directly which made yeri froze, "what do you mean?"

"are we still a thing?"

jungkook wanted answers and yeri couldn't follow. "do you still want us to be- something?" she spoke softly and jungkook blinked,

"no, mianhae yeri-ah."

"i already moved on and i went here to make things clear, but if you want, we can be friends." jungkook spoke and yeri smiled and nodded, "that'd be great."

he smiled and continued to sip, "are you dating anyone?" jungkook asked making yeri laugh, "single as i'll ever be!"

"how about you?"

"courting someone." jungkook answered which made yeri stop in her laugh, "who?"

"tzuyu,"
