Zhang Qiling opened his eyes that night to WuXie's relief

"XiaoGe how are you feeling?"

"Wu....Xie "

"I'll call a nurse to help, okay?"

    Zhang Qiling knows he is fine, with fast healing that he has his injuries are healing well , the nurse and the doctors even confirmed that

"Are you okay?" He asked WuXie reaching out touch his cheek

"I..."

"How are they?" Zhang Qiling asked again and that's when the dam broke and WuXie buried his face on XiaoGe's shoulder

"YaLi is still in surgery... We don't what's happening ..no one is telling us XiaoGe , I'm scared"

Zhang QiLing reached for him, not bothering much of his injuries as he make a bit of space and maneuvered WuXie to lay beside him , the other man is still trembling in his embrace

"TianZhen what's wrong?" PangZi asked who seems like he just woke up from a nap, Zhang Qiling is glad that PangZi seemed fine other than the bandage on his head and the sling on his arm

"XiaoGe, I'm glad you're awake..." He smiled and XiaoGe nodded

"WuXie, fell asleep"

"Oh? Is he okay , I think I heard him crying"

"He told me he was scared"

"It was all scary"

"YaLi..."

"He'll be fine, He will be"

WuXie woke up and it's already morning, he got up with a start heart racing looking around a bit confused

"WuXie?" XiaoGe called worried

"Oh my god, I'm sorry XiaoGe, did I wake you?"

"I was already awake"

WuXie sighed "I'm sorry for sleeping on your bed, It must have been so cramped"

"No... It's better with you"

"Did... Did they have news about YaLi?"

The door opened then, Ershu and Nai Nai entered with the doctor sitting on the couch adjacent to the bed

"Mr.Wu good morning, I hope you rested well"

"How is he?" WuXie internally apologize for the lack of manners but he's on edge about LiCu's condition

"He's stable. We managed to reduce the swelling and hemorrhage in his brain and fix the punctured lung...

   But I'm afraid, that he's in a coma..."

Nai Nai wiped a tear and Ershu is comforting her, while WuXie tighten his hold on XiaoGe

"How long?" Was WuXie's question

"That's up to him, There's a chance that he might not wake up again"

"C-can I see him?"

LiCu looks so small in that hospital bed, tubes attached to his body, A respirator covering his face, his head and half of his face covered with bandages

His left arm in a cast as well as his right leg

"Hey kid..." WuXie took his hand, His Ershu had settle his wheelchair beside LiCu's bed before standing by the door outside

"YaLi,the doctor told me that you'll be sleeping for a while, sleepy head...They told me you might not wake up too, but I know you, You'll fight, you'll wake up, And then you'll..."

He didn't finish what he wants to say as the sob got out from his throat

"Had I known it would hurt you like I should've been the one to drive, YaLi..."

LiCu stood up from where he's sitting by WuXie's door when he saw Ershu wheeling WuXie out of the room

LiCu followed them

Then he saw himself all bandaged up, He winced at the huge bandage on his head and face

"I look awful" he said going to WuXie's side who's beside his bed

"You think I can be a mummy on Halloween this year?"

He didn't get a response from WuXie, of course and it made LiCu feel empty

How long will he stay like this?

Then WuXie took his hand and LiCu thought of how much he wanted to feel that

"They told me you'll be sleeping for a while..."

A coma then...

"They told me you might not wake up too"

No... Of course not, he will wake up, he'll be up and about in no time he will wake up

"Had I known You would be this hurt, I should've been the one to drive"

No! WuXie can't say that, LiCu can't think of what he will do if it's WuXie who was in the state he's in
