The day was uneventful, LiCu stayed on his bed the whole time not finding anything else to do, he tried scrolling on weibo but nothing seemed interesting enough, he opened his WeChat and immediately put it down as he saw all the left out conversations in there…
It just left a bitter taste in his mouth as if slapping his face with the reality of how much time he missed, everyone moved forward, and he got stuck, he didn't even know where to begin….
They told him to just focus on recovery, let himself heal a little bit more, give it more time..
But how much longer? How much longer would the world around pass by and him stuck , because it just felt like it was all just yesterday
"Are you okay?" He looked up to see XiaoGe three cups of milk tea on hand, he poked a straw on one and offered them.to LiCu
"Thanks" LiCu accepted it feeling the coldness of the cup in his hands, before taking a small sip
"No pearls?"
"Mn, liquids for now" XiaoGe said seriously yet his eyes held a bit of teasing in them
LiCu giggled taking another sip, yet his smile dropped immediately , he sighed
"I feel stuck… it seems like everything was just yesterday but it wasn't" he started , XiaoGe didn't respond yet as if urging LiCu to talk more
"I woke up and everything moved forward" the boy added , There is a matter of silence
"I understand" XiaoGe replied
"Huh?"
"Being stuck, while everything moves along, I understand" he said looking at LiCu, brown eyes meeting obsidian ones
LiCu knew a bit about Zhang Qiling, but not everything, there are things they decided to left out of details
"How?"
"It's a part of me, to lose my memories, everything… is all blank and unfamiliar"
"How did you do it?"
"It's like a loop, I lost them, I make new ones then I lost them again, no track or trace"

"I met WuXie, but I lost them again and again, but they taught me… to trust them and I did…

LiCu gave a smile trying to suppress the tears that are trying to escape his eyes,
It's difficult yes, no one said it will be a smoother slope but he has people to trust, he could've died that day or while in coma but LiCu can feel that he himself chose to stay and he has an idea what's the reason for that …

SuWan can feel his nerves go haywire as he sat on the passenger's seat

He didn't believe it when he saw him on video call, he hung up and immediately called Hua Er Ye asking him to help him book the earliests schedule for a ticket back to China it's all a mixture of nervousness and excitement after that, a blur of emotios
"SuWan, you…" LiCu didn't get to finish what he's about to say as SuWan almost tackled him in a bear hug crying out loud
"YaLi!!! YaLi! I missed you so much!"
"Hey SuWan...I missed you too.."
