The world was bright as Tegans eyes took in the sunlight coming through the trees above her. Her body screamed at her. Her mind begged her to stay asleep. All she cared about was getting back to her daughter.

Tegans eyes drifted to the Dixon who was still stuck to a tree. He noticed her looking at him and quickly mouthed no to her. What he was saying no too, she wasn't sure. She wasn't even sure where she was. Last she remembered Negan and her were surrounded by whisperers and Beta knocked her out.

"Hes been gone to long. Gamma!" A familiar woman's voice called out.

"Yes, Alpha," another woman said. Tegan couldn't hear them, but she knew they weren't far from her.

"Go find Beta," the woman said.

"Yes, Alpha," Gamma said. Tegan heard the sound of retreating footsteps. She decided to chance a look around her. To her right was Merle, to her left was Negan. He was leaning up against a log with a rag stuffed into his mouth. His hands were bound behind his back and his eyes stayed trained on her. Seeing her awake Negans nerves settled a bit.

Tegans eyelids were to heavy and she closed them again. She tried hard to stay awake, but the fever took over her body and mind.

Daryl was able to follow Betas footsteps back to the camp. He kept himself hidden from the whisperers keeping watch. His eyes scanned the horizon and when they landed on the one person he missed the most he froze. From his view she looked dead. Her skin was so pale you could barely see freckles. His eyes checked her chest to see it rise and fall just slightly. A breath released from his chest that he didn't even realize he was holding.

Looking up, Daryl saw the perfect spot. He carefully climbed the tree next to him, hiding himself away from the Whisperers. Now he had to wait until nightfall. He kept himself quiet, facing his wife, brother, and brother in law. His heart rate was fast, so fast he was sure it would escape his chest and go flying through the woods.

Daryl watched when Gamma came back with a shake of her head to indicate she couldn't find beta. Of course she couldn't. Daryl hid his body so well, no one, but him would find Beta.

A smile spread across Daryls face as he saw a look of disappointment and sadness spread across Alphas face. If only she knew that he was truly dead to never come back as the walking. She'd flip. Wasn't that their whole thing? You never truly died if you came back. You only died when that form of you was killed.

Negan saw movement from the corner of his eye. He was to focused on breaking out of his zip ties to truly catch what that movement was. It was starting to get dark again and he could finally feel the tension on his wrists loosening. Right when the plastic was about to tear through a scream came from one of the whisperers. An arrow had been shot through the chest of a woman. Everyone scattered, looking for the culprit.

"Find him!" Alpha shouted through the rumbling of panic. Negan looked around. He couldn't see Daryl anywhere, but knew he was here.

"Thank god," Merle mumbled, recognizing his brothers arrow.

A loud thump landed in front of Alphas feet. Negans eyes caught hers briefly as they looked to the ground together. Betas head lay lifeless mixed in with the leaves and sticks. Alphas mouth dropped. Her heart heavy. As quick as it happened she stopped. She straightened up. Her eyes lifted to the trees and that was when Negan saw him. Daryl sat perched on a branch, aiming straight for Alpha's head.

Negan started feeling really hot as he turned to see what was causing it. Orange and red flames shot up behind him. Burning trees started to surround them. He looked back at Daryl, to question the plan with his eyes, but he noticed by Daryls face, even he was confused.

Daryl watched the flames grow closer, unsure of who started them. The loud growls of walkers started to flood in. Daryls heart leapt through his chest. Tegan was still unconscious and the other two still bound. Quickly he lowered himself from the tree pulling his bow back in front of his face he shot a man who was charging towards him with a machete raised. Not able to reload quick enough he tossed the bow to the side and once again used his knives. The sharp blades penatrated anything they came into contact with.

Negan was finally able to break through the ties. He removed the washcloth from his mouth and ran to Merle. He untied him as quick as he could. Before he could check on his sister he heard the howling of wolves. She was here.

Angie, along with Fang and Impala, were taking down Whisperers and walkers, left and right. Daryl wasn't all to shocked to see she had followed him. He was however shocked side didn't ruin his plan, simply because he hadn't told her.

It was now dark, the flames of the forest fire the only light. Alpha watched as her people started to fall. How were these people destroying everything she built? Everything she worked hard for.

"Alpha," the shaky voice of a female said. Alpha turned to see Tegan, standing with a knife in her hand.

"You are a fighter," Alpha smirked at the young lady.

"Its over. You kidnapped the wrong children," Tegan snarled, stepping closer to the woman.

"I should've killed them when I had the chance," Alpha snapped. Tegan waisted no time in flinging the blade straight into Alphas chest. It had flown through the air with such precision, it hit her directly in the heart. Alphas eyes widened as she gripped the handle of the blade in her chest.

"I'm letting you go easy," Tegan growled at the woman who was now on her knees.

"Please, don't," Alpha begged, holding her head. Tegan knew what she was asking. She wanted to become one of the undead.

Tegan ripped the knife out of the woman's chest and smiled as blood squirted from the hole.

"See you in hell, bitch," Tegan smirked before plunging the sharp knife into the soft part of Alphas skull. Alphas eyes stayed wide as the life dissipated from her body. Tegan ripped the knife away and let the body drop. Whisperers who were still around, stopped and stared. Tegan, who could no longer hold herself up, realized the fire was now engulfing everything around her. If she died now, at least she got to kill the bitch who hurt her daughter. She would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

With her eyes drawing closed as she collapsed onto the hard ground, orange flames was the last she saw before darkness overcame her.
