Alex lay awake in bed, still processing the information from hours before.
She had another family? Did they know she existed? If so, did they know she's alive? If she went to meet them, would they like her? These thoughts ran wild in her head, "I have to find them" She thought to herself, so she quickly but silently got dressed, packed a few things in a bag and left.
She didn't know how to leave, she was kept inside at all times, but she ran into someone she wouldn't expect....
"Where do you think your going?" A familiar voice asked
"Liz! Shush, I'm trying to get out of here, don't ask why."
"Come on, you can't just say something like that and expect me not to ask"
Alex sighs, "I need you to help me sneak into Reds office"
She replied, "Easy work, what for exactly?"
"I'm looking for someone" She says
The two quickly and quietly made their way to the office, and Liz picked the lock, once she did, Alex made a beeline for the filing cabinet in the corner of the room, and dug around till she found what she was looking for.
"Come on, let's go!" Alex whispered, walking to the garage, Liz follows, "You know, you didn't ask me why I was up." Alex looks at her, "Well, why we're you up?" Liz says, "Nightmares."
"Oh" They continued, and Liz put in the code for the garage door and got in the car, Alex eagerly hopped in, hugging the two folders she found close to her chest.
"So, who are we looking for?"
Alex sighs, "My real family."
"Did Red tell you anything about them?"
"No, but I may have a lead" She says, unclipping two pictures from the folders.
"Got a name in that file?"
"Oh, one guys name is...Tom, and the other guy is... Edd!"
"Hmm, Edd seems a lot sweeter than Tom to be honest."
Alex nods in agreement
"Is there an address?"
"Uh, 27 Dirdum Lane!"
Liz keeps her eye out for street signs to make sure she doesn't miss it, and after about an hour they finally pulled in the driveway.
Alex sighs, "I've got this!" She says, then knocks on the door, and a man with black eyes and strange, spiky,mussed up hair answers, "Who is it?"
"Hello? Um, are you Tom?"
"Yeah, who's asking?"
"Um... Well, you may not know me but I'm your daughter, Alex!"
The man's eyes go white, "Alex? Are you serious?!" He gives her a big hug.
"Edd, there's someone you need to see!" He calls out.
Just then a brown haired man walked in, "Holy Mother of cola...it's...Alex?" She nods, "Yeah... It's.. Me." The brunette male known as Edd joins the hug, tears in his eyes, "Where were you? We looked everywhere for you!" Alex pulls away from the hug, "Well... I was raised by the Red Army. I would love to say more, but I'm really tired." She yawns, "Oh and by the way, my friend out there, that's Liz, she got me here." She says, sitting on the couch.
Liz comes in and sits beside her, "So...you have two dads? That's cool." Alex lays back and falls asleep, and after awhile, so does Liz.
Alex unconsciously snuggles up to her, though Liz paid no attention.
