George and Daisy sat next to each. George's coat was around her shoulders to keep her warm from the cold wind of the night. They looked over the sea of people that they saw as peers, friends and classmates.
The best friends were sitting outside their school looking on the sea of people that was exiting the building where they just experienced their first dance of college (A/N: college is high school in the UK).
Daisy looked at George and sighed. "Thanks for doing that." She whispered. George chuckled and shook his head, "You have to listen to me some time you know?" he asked.
She frowned and nodded. Early in the night, George had confronted her date for making out with another girl by the bathrooms.
George had already told Daisy about what he heard at the lockers after his football practice about her date's plan but she didn't listen.
He grabbed her hand making her frown. She looked at him, "How about this. We make sure that whoever we go out with next time will have to be approved by one another." He said.
She sent him a look and he shrugged, "You know, so we can protect each other from something like this." He said. Daisy stared at him and sighed.
The girl was hesitant, something in her heart tells her that this won't go as they planned but she trusted her best friend.
The two had known each other since they were kids so she agreed.
Daisy Florence and George Davidson had entrusted each other's future towards each other. What they didn't know was how messy and toxic it would get as they grow up.
Oh if only they knew.
